Le port de la Daurade, souvent affilié à la place de la Daurade, est un port fluvial sur la rive droite de la Garonne à Toulouse. Aujourd'hui partent de ce port des bateaux de promenade sur la Garonne et le canal du Midi.
Dans le cadre du réaménagement du centre ville de Toulouse, l'architecte catalan Joan Busquets a mis fin au stationnement sauvage pour donner une nouvelle image à la place en pavant celle-ci. Le port devait lui aussi être réaménagé mais les discussions avec l'association de quartier ont retardé cette partie du projet à plus tard.

I took this roll with my Yashica Mat 124G way back in 1982 —some consumer-grade Kodacolor. On a lark I decided to re-scan it. I realized that two frames constituted a panorama so I merged them using Hugin.
The camera was pretty new then, I bought it at Frank’s Highland Park Camera. I got a lot of stuff at Frank’s back in the day.

Night. Freezing cold winter. Made several mistakes. Forgot my release cable and forgot to set the aperture. Tilting photo. Aahg have to get out more and not be lazy.
