The view down onto the Sails Pavillon of the San Diego Convention Center, where most of the Posters of the ATS2009 have been shown.
Stitched from 59 (!) photos, since I didn't have my wide-angle lens with me. Equirectangular Projection
Assembled in Hugin from 6 pictures, 4 at 90 degree intervals plus zenith and nadir. Shot on a Canon 60D with Rokinon 8mm lens.
This one was aligned and fused from a bracketed exposure stack using Hugin instead of by hand with GIMP layers.
i wish i could have done a better job (a) of capturing the river's continuation at right (b) of adequately conveying the sense of space: the foreground was slopping away at about 45 degrees before dropping into the abyss.

It was a dreary day for Open Tower Day in Amsterdam. The view from the 18th floor of Up Office Building is quite nice. To my surprise, the balcony was open, permitting me to shoot this panorama without a pesky rain soaked window in the way.
Handheld 3 exposure panorama stitched in Hugin and edited in Lightroom including severe abuse of the clarity slider.
Photo taken with my point and shoot and stitched with hugin.
Panoramic of the view from Half Dome overlooking the cables used to climb up the side of Half Dome.
A somber monument in Gwangju 5.18 Memorial Park.
The park memorializes the date of the massacre. ROK Army Lieutenant General Chun Doo-Hwan declared martial law on May 17th, 1980, after a military coup d'etat in 1979.
The pro-democracy student and civilian movements responded with demonstrations. During the following week, the people of Gwangju joined with the student movement in protest.
Airborne and army troops were dropped into Gwangju to respond to the demonstrations and civil militia known as the "Citizen's Army." Apparently it took ninety minutes for the army to defeat the pro-democracy forces.
A conservative estimate of casualties is 970.
HDR Panorama at Adelaide airport. 5:44am 20/12/2009 The sun hadn't risen above the mountain range & gave great cloud effects. Shot with a Ricoh GRD2. with +/-0.5EV. The HDR was made with Photomatix Pro 3 from 18 shots & then 6 shots stitched together with Hugin. Trimming & resizing with Photofiltre.
Looking northeast through the Burren from Corkscrew Hill. I forgot to put my camera onto manual mode, hence the artifacts that emblend could not move. Made with Autopanotools, Hugin and Emblend and cropped with the GIMP on a Ubuntu 6.06 GNU/Linux system.
Downtown Pittsburgh seen fron mount Washington. This panorama is stiched out of 9 photos made with Pentax K-7 with smc PENTAX-FA 50mm F1.4.
Try looking at this in full size and injoy the level of detail. The original panorama was just a bit over 50MB of size, however the flickr wouldn't upload it. This one is compressed to be about 5 MB.
