For the colorit challenge as well as for the card drive for little Kate. This is the card I made for her (also sending cards to the rest of her family as well). I used my watercolor pencils to color the flowers.

This was an image taken almost a year earlier in Oregon. I remember this particular weekend cos it was a typical whirlwind roadtrip with my pal from NYC...
Hit Portland International Airport at 11pm to pick Jordan up, drove straight to Crater Lake to catch the sunrise, got into car accident while coming down the mountain, continuted west to Lincoln City, up the Oregon Coast, ended at Hug Point, and then back to Beaverton..
It was raining througout the entire trip, except for Crater Lake... This was taken when the rain subsided for like 5 mins, and the sky kinda cleared a little. No crazy sunset colors like we hoped, but this was how it looked like that particular evening!
This shot is inspired by Darren White (Photography), one of the best landscape photographers out there... Should check out his work here..
Left it Large intentionally to show the textures!
Hugs are an important expression of affection. By hugging someone, you remind them that you care about them and support them.
Remember..
to Hug evryone you Love
you may not have another chance.
Some Days you just need lots and lots of hugs.
I feel like yesterday totally needed a do over so today I am going to hope for the best ;)
There seem to be so many people going through tough times at the moment, far too many of my friends to mention, but you know who you are {{hugs}}
Vidisha hugging the big beautiful banyan tree.
I took some pictures of her holding a board with a nice message, last year at Neralu Festival, and they were published on many newspapers and online media - It made her very popular. This year, when she requested me to take a photo, I wanted to make photograph in which the message that she was carrying was conveyed. It was quite clear that we had to somehow feature this banyan tree. The tree is huge and it's not easy to get the entire tree with a regular lens. The obvious choice was to go with a 15 mm fish-eye lens, which did the job very well. (I had carried only 2 lenses for this shoot - the 24-105 and the 15mm fisheye)
Stop by NGMA sometime and take a look at this beautiful tree - it is right next to the parking lot. And if you have time this Saturday (Feb 14th), drop by at Bal Bhavan, where the second part of this year's Neralu - Bengaluru Tree Festival is being celebrated. The first part of the festival, conducted last weekend at NGMA, Doddamavalli Katte and MN Krishna Rao Park, was a big hit.

We always knew he's a little bit "different", but as we found out what he did there, we were really scared!!
He's been on tour with us since a little while now, but yet we don't have name for our psycho-bear. Please let us know your suggestions :-)

Took some pictures for this amazing couple. Luckily the light was beautiful that evening.
