I took this image early just after my first meal. i was out on the fields when i saw these two hanging out togheter on the open land in love.

Mortimer just melted in Lisa's arms... such an emotional moment for everybody who stood at the shelter and looked at him.

MS hug gave me the uncomfortable sensation of tightness or compression around the torso or chest. Other times it was like a sharp pain in my heart area that made me think I was having a heart attack. When I felt MS Hug the first time I was having the last relapse before my diagnosis. By that time it was like I was trying to stand before a giant wave of turbulence. On the inside I felt like I was suffocating. Like It was taking my breath away, compressing my muscles, squeezing me tight, crushing my ribs. Sometimes I wanted to scream but there was no room enough for this. On the outside I looked perfectly fine. It's a misleading name, but I can say that It is an "unforgettable" hug.

I should really start taking photos of other subjects again... but I just cannot help it! So here he is: Sackboy again! And he has free hugs to give away!!!

Now I should at least come up with some other place to take pictures of him... otherwise I get sick of seeing so much green...

This is what's going on in house every single morning. After we eat and play a little bit, we come upstairs to get ready, and Kat just smothers our sleeping cat with hugs. I think Pinky actually likes that, since he usually responds with lots of purring.

Thanks Cortni ....you totally inspired me to take this. I'd definitely want to remember those sweet moments forever.

A BIG HUG for all of you:

Martin - the master of conducting a wild bunch of moderately talented but decidedly willing singers

Liesbeth & Susanne - solists and drilling us daily on all we need to know about strengthening our voices, having flexible voice cords, do the scales the right way, etc. etc. - But mostly for just being there for us, always!

Eun-Ah, our fantastically talented organ player and Christian, quietly plucking the most wonderful guitar music, as well as Regula, for adding great gusto to our programme with her 'flute traversière' (Sadly, R. was not present in 2008).

The many teams and single persons being always willing to go the extra mile and never complaining about the stress of being with 70 people with 70 minds and 70 ideas about the same thing! I am thinking particularly of Barbara, the kitchen team, Vreni, Marco, Marcello, Evelyne, and, and, and....

GOD for the beautiful weather, the glorious autumn week, the warm sunshine and cool benches, the growing of fresh apples which we greatly enjoyed during our breaks

Madeleine & her little helpers to provide us with everything to do around the programme, the preparations, reservations, sweet talking to whoever needed it.... :)

It was a truly inspiring, wonderful and unforgettable week. We were blessed not only with a perfect time outside the church and our accommodation but within the large group I felt an exceptionally genuine spirit of friendship, acceptance, open minds, the will to give our best to make this choral week and the concerts the best ever - and guess what: They were... :))))))
