Mario and I finished our lunch and walked again towards Duomo; we both had some pretty good images already, but wanted to find more interesting people. The street was crowded and there some street performers were doing their things trying to attract people attention; while looking at the crowd I immediately noticed a blond hair with shaved hair on one side: it took me a while to see her face, but that figure really caught my attention! When I saw Deborah's face I knew she had to be my next stranger, no matter if I had to go against my usual fears (mother, boyfriend, whoever would be with her)!
The situation was not really easy and comfortable: Deborah was part of a group of about five people but I was so into stopping her that I approached with no hesitation, and fortunately she was happy with it!
Her friends did some jokes but that was fine and I asked Deborah if we could move to a place nearby a bit more quiet. I took a few shots and moved again under an arch. Mario helped me with his big reflector and we tried a few different poses.
Deborah is photogenic and I got a good set of images;
if you followed my project so far, you probably know that I rarely shoot beyond f2.0: this image is at f3.5 by pure mistake:) I took a few images of Lera and Anastasia together at that aperture and did not notice it... I was so mad at me when I realized it.

Séptima y última entrega de la serie hecha en película con mi Bronica ETRS, dedicada a las rústicas vanitas rurales contenidas en este olvidado deshabitado paraje, mostrando, en esta ocasión, la casa principal de la pequeña aldea, que asemeja desafiar a su inexorable destino final, irguiéndose en su batalla final contra el olvido, aún sabiendo que la tiene perdida.

This is the seventh and last picture in this series dedicated to rustic rural "vanitas" taken on film with my Bronica ETRS in this forgotten hamlet. This one shows the main house of this village, that seems to be resisting in a heroic last stand to its inexorable fate against oblivion.

The Huai Mae Khamin Waterfall is one of the most beautiful places in Kanchanaburi. Huai Mae Khamin has been a popular destination for locals, particularly during the rainy season. One of the attractions is the tall limestone walls and dense forest that surround the area. The Huai Mae Khamin Waterfall is a moderate-sized limestone waterfall. It has seven levels. Visitors here feel at peace while watching the clear water fall down the steps of each level. Because this is a limestone waterfall, the area surrounding it is not slippery and doesn’t support algae. The most stunning level is the fourth, called Chat Chat Kaco. The length from the ground to the top most level is about 2.2 kilometers, so it would be a challenge for those who would want to climb up from the ground to the top of this waterfall. It would take about 3 hours for this journey. However, the beginning point of the waterfall is not from the first level, but the fourth one, which is from the park. In the area of the park, not so far from the waterfall, there is a tent area for visitors to take some rest. This area is also a good place to see view of Srinakarin Dam.
The Huai Mae Khamin Waterfall, in the mountainous Khuan Si Nakharin National Park, is located in Amphone Sai Yok and Amphoe Thong Pha Phum in the province of Kanchanaburi - Thailand. The waterfall itself is located near the National Park Office. One of the attractions is the tall limestone walls and dense forest that surround the area. The water cascades over an ochre-stained limestone rock face, earning the falls the Thai name “Huai Khamin” or “Turmeric Stream”. The little-visited falls have formed deep pools that are ideal for swimming. Muslim women are not afraid to jump from the falls into the cool refreshing water. The surroundings are very peaceful with dense jungles and occasional sightings of elephants and other wildlife.
De schittrende natuur van Huay Mae Khamin. Alleen de rit er naar toe is al een verademing. Prachtige natuur en schitterende uitzichten over het Srinakarin stuwmeer. Bij de watervallen aangekomen viel het ons meteen op dat er bjna geen buitenlandse toeristen waren. Het merendeel van de bezoekers was van Thaise afkomst en sloeg er hun tentje op. Ook is er de mogelijkheid om een tentje te huren. De Huay Mae Khamin waterval is gelegen in diepe bossen van van het Khuan Si Nakharin National Park. De waterval is net zo mooi als Erawan maar veel rustiger. Het is genieten op deze plek. Het water is zo heerlijk om in te zwemmen. De zeven trappen waterval wordt beschouwd als één van de mooiste waterval van Thailand. De foto van deze waterval is ook vaak te verkrijgen als fotobehang. Stromend van de kalkstenen gebergte valt haar wateren in zeven verdiepingen langs een route van ongeveer 2 kilometer. De wandeling naar de top van waterval duurt 3 uur. Het begin punt van de wandeling is bij verdieping vier van de waterval bij de ingang van het park.

A brutalist sculpture (1988) commissioned by the City of Lachine in honour of the late Quebec premier René Lévesque.
The artist was my great uncle Robert Roussil. Although I had never met Robert (he had moved to France in the 1950s), I grew up hearing stories about him from my mother. In addition to being a sculptor, he was also a painter; a number of his originals adorned my parents' home when I was growing up; I now proudly hang them in my house.

getting down to this waterfall is tricky have to cross upstream over mossy rocks on top of the waterfall then cross the river then clamber over a few fallen trees....then your there ;-) Then got to go back ;-(

On our maiden trip to Kerala, we experienced the beauty of the beaches of God’s Own Country. The typically crowded first beach gave way to the blue waters of the Lighthouse beach. Being a Monday, the light house was closed. But from its premises, we spotted a rarity – a secluded quiet beach, perfect for a peaceful sunset.
Day 200...is this real? The progress I've made since I started this project is truly astounding. I never believed I could grow so much in as little as six months.
I had a concept involving balloons planned for this. I went to Vons and asked for 12 rainbow balloons only to be informed there is a "nation wide helium shortage." Not sure if I believe this since there were THOUSANDS of balloons at pride.
This looked awesome in black in white too, but I'm a sucker for blue. I stepped on a dead jellyfish...ew. And yes, I did buy roses for myself.
I have to go take my picture for today before I lose the light. See ya later. :)
