23/11/2015; Gerard bought a Pixelstick, and I was curious to see it and to experiment a little with it. So that's what we did at the Westergasfabriek area. And now I'm positive I want one, however as they don't come in cheap, I'll have to save a bit more for one.

Andalusia is located in southern Spain and covers an area of 8 provinces. Andalusia is the second largest autonomous region in Spain. Beautiful Andalucía, the land of olives, oranges, sunflowers, beautiful mountain ranges and valleys, nice white mountain villages with beautiful squares, is a bridge between two continents, Africa and Europe, and is the point where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea meet. There is something for everyone in Andalusia, from culture to beautiful terraces, sights, long beaches, beautiful inland areas with beautiful reservoirs, mountains and nice villages to visit. Málaga is second-most populous city of Andalusia. Known to many as the capital of the Costa del Sol, Málaga is more than a seaside city. Málaga's history spans about 2,800 years, making it one of the oldest cities in Europe. It was founded about 770 BC by the Phoenicians as Malaka. The archaeological remains and monuments from the Phoenician, Roman, Arabic and Christian eras make the historic center of the city an "open museum", displaying its history of nearly 3,000 years. The Cathedral of Málaga is located within the limits defined by a now missing portion of the medieval Moorish walls. The Cathedral is a Roman Catholic church in its Renaissance architectural tradition. It was constructed between 1528 and 1782. The façade, unlike the rest of the building, is in Baroque style. The tower is 84 metres high. A series of grand artworks fills the sanctuary, among them are the Gothic altarpiece of the Chapel of Santa Barbara and the 16th century tombs of the Chapel of San Francisco.
Málaga is one of the oldest cities in Spain and hallmarks of its rich past are scattered across Malaga: the cobbled streets of the old quarter, its mountainside Roman Amphitheatre, the Moorish citadels of the Alcazaba and Gilfarbaro. And even once the sight-seeing is done, there’s still a city full of rooftop bars, gleaming boutique stores and nearby beaches to explore. Cathedral of Málaga built between 1528 and 1782, the construction was never completed. Due to a lack of money, a second tower has never been built and that gives it a special, asymmetrical appearance. For this reason, it is popularly called "La Manquita"; the one-armed lady. Inside, the cathedral has three naves, two magnificent 17th century organs, and contains impressive mahogany and cedar wood choir stalls that houses 40 carved wooden statues of saints. It's without hesitation the most important monument of the city. Its different towers, its magnificient facade and its legacy makes it a master piece on its own.
Ruabon Moors are an area of upland moorland in Wales to the west of Ruabon and Wrexham. They lie partly within Wrexham county borough and partly within Denbighshire.
In the northern part of the moors are the areas known as Minera Mountain and Esclusham Mountain. Further south are Ruabon Mountain and Eglwyseg Mountain. In the west the moors reach their greatest height at Cyrn-y-Brain,565 metres (1,854 ft) above sea level.
To the north and north-east, the moors are bounded by Minera Limeworks and the Clywedog valley. In the east they slope down to the villages of Rhosllannerchrugog and Ruabon. There are several small reservoirs in this area. At the southern edge of the moors the cliffs of Eglwyseg Rocks overlook the River Dee and the Vale of Llangollen. On the western side there are more cliffs at World's End while the Horseshoe Pass separates the moors from Llantysilio Mountain. Llandegla Forest, a large conifer plantation, covers the north-western side.
Ruabon Moors are part of a Site of Special Scientific Interest and hold a wide variety of plant and animal life. Large parts of the moors are covered with heather. Where there are outcrops of limestone on the surface a number of scarce plants can be found such as prickly sedge, dark red helleborine and rigid buckler-fern.
The moors are managed for red grouse shooting. Huge numbers were shot in the past (an average of 4658 per year from 1900 to 1913) but numbers have now decreased dramatically. The area is also home to black grouse and a major conservation programme has caused their population to increase in recent years. Other birds which can be seen include peregrine falcon, merlin, hen harrier, short-eared owl and ring ouzel.
The area has been modified by human activity since prehistoric times when people built cairns and cleared the original forest. Mining has taken place in the area since Roman times and there are still many shafts of disused lead, zinc, silver and coal mines dotting the area. During the Second World War bombs were dropped on the moors by German planes heading to and from Liverpool and a number of bomb craters can still be seen today.
The area is popular with walkers and rock-climbers and the Offa's Dyke Path crosses the region.

This wonderful building was designed by one of the most prominent architectural firms in Philadelphia in the early 1900s, McKim, Mead, and White along with Frank Furness, another prominent architect of the time. The building was completed in 1931, one hundred years after Stephen Girard. After completion the building was used as the Girard Trust Company Building as a part of Stephen Girard's banking company. Stephen Girard is renowned for personally saving the United States economy during the War of 1812.
Today, the building is the location of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The well-known restaurant 10 Arts is located here. As well as the Richel D'Ambra Spa & Salon. I love the old Greek-inspired architecture of Philadelphia!

Shun Ping Street Murals
Shun Ping Street is located near the old fire station. Its name suggests good luck and wellbeing. Along the street, there are two murals depicting the deity-thanking ceremony, a traditional cultural event in Sha Tau Kok. To date, Sha Tau Kok residents still celebrate the Tin Hau Festival annually, and a large-scale ceremony takes place every 10 years. In the murals, you can see one of the most distinctive celebrations — the dragon boat dance performed by Hoklo women.
