Pin and sew your skirt to the bodice. Keep the bodice buttoned so that they overlap like in the above picture.
You'll need: enough fabric to cover your chair top (I used 3/4 yard 45"-wide home dec fabric), scissors, a pencil, needle & thread (or sewing machine), and some pins. (And an optional snap).
This was what my slideshow set up looked like when people came in to the room. I used a little application called SlideShow Desktop which basically works by changing your desktop photo and allowing you to step through slides either manually or automatically. Beats the hell out of powerpoint.
STEP THREE: Once the icing had crusted, I used regular Viva paper towels to smooth the icing. This step helps the surface of the cake to more closely resemble plastic--a definite must when you are creating an Xbox controller!
Next, I piped gray-tinted buttercream on the edge of the cake to match the controller.

Taken to explain my Jäger shot for Farktography theme: Frankly my deer, I don't give a dam" which was a double exposure in camera, using a playing card in a cokin filter frame to split the visible area of the image in half. Card/frame was rotated 180 between exposures.
Lesson learned for next time: Cover the card with black sharpie, or possibly felt or other non-reflective surface to prevent glare and washout at the overlap point.
- Put bread in toaster on light setting til it's just brown.
- Slather with butter [you can melt butter first on warm bread]
- add cinnamon and sugar
- put back in toaster til the whole mess bubbles
- enjoy, careful sugar is HOT [and delicious]

Scanning with the ScanSnap S500.
I can comfortably put about 60 pages in the hopper - these are fairly thick pages. I can add more pages to the hopper before this set is done, to keep the scanner working continuously. Or, I can wander off and let it run out of pages - when I come back I will have the option to continue scanning into the same batch.
Scanning took 20 minutes. I was able to do other things during this time, as long as I refilled the hopper whenever it started running low.
Let me also say the ScanSnap is, quite simply, the best scanner anywhere near this price range. It is compact (when folded up it is about the size of a football!) and very solidly built. It scans both sides of the paper in one pass, makes almost no noise, and it almost never misfeeds. When it does, it opens like a clamshell and the paper just falls through - you never find yourself grabbing a peice of paper from one end and pulling against resistance or tearing the paper. I have used several 'all-in-one' print/scan/fax devices with flatbeds and sheetfeeders. The ScanSnap kicks their butts clear out of the park.
You also get a copy of Acrobat 7 and ABYY FineReader (OCR software) with your ScanSnap, all for about $450. Prices and versions may have changed since I bought mine. I expect this to last a decade or more - the moving/wearable parts are replaceable. Unlike the all-in-one devices which, once they broke, were not repairable.
