Over the last two days we've seen 9 houses and viewed 5 schools. Think we've decided, just fingers crossed we get it...

Ade makes these spreadsheets for us to fill in and whilst I laugh at him it does help remember the various houses (i also write funny little prompts about the people to help me remember the house - loser icon) but that said you don't forget 'the one' when you see it do you?

We're getting better at this all the time ...

Very well maintained. The landscaping is pretty. House 5 is my next favorite house. There are some big downsides. This house is on septic, and there are no sidewalks in the neighborhood. We're about two blocks away from the lake, which is pretty, but there are no city lights and the roads are twisty.

Mom -- this house is EXACTLY the same as the Uncle T's house in Glen Ellyn. It was spooky.

Maybe I can identify the age via the 'net.

house hunting on the weekend - this was in the same block as the one bedder I went to see. I didn't get to see it as the real estate agents 'forgot' to show up.

I did not want to go through that again. This is from some random house that we saw along the way. Nothing remarkable about it, other than this negative thing.

Snapped on a trip to Canberra. I asked a guy in the bike shopthere and apparently bike theft is pretty bad in the national capital...don't know why people don't follow professional advice and LOCK IT UP

One of the modern houses we liked... but didn't love... I did LOVE the garage door however lol!

granite counter tops and rimless sink

You don' t even notice the old carpet and the cheap paneling with a view like that - it's even better from the deck.

Indoor photography can mean well exposed windows plus dark interiors or blown-out, all white windows and well exposed interiors. To capture the window and the interior, I exposed for the view out the window and set the on-camera flash to "forced on."
