pretty nice place - very close to the park. should list for about $300k. the unit for sale is on the right (follow the path to the kids' toys on the patio)

It's hard winterizing things like row boats... even just pulling them from the lake is tough, tougher when the lake freezes it in place!

We are not going to kit out the nursery too much, just keep it simple and cute, and put in a trundle daybed so we can have guests sleep over. When that happens we'll probably just have the baby sleep with us.I kind of think the baby will sleep with us at night anyway, so.

The flat we are going to rent - we're selling our flat and can't be arsed with the chain so are moving into rented. This lounge sold it for me...

House-hunting

 

This house was nice, but the price was too high for its size. Also, it was one of only a few single-story, single-car garage houses in a very large neighborhood of two-story, two-car garage homes.

A bloody great millipede (that's the scientific term) exploring a weaver bird nest.

Expensive, but pretty, no? That empty $8k lot I mentioned is behind the fence in this picture. Imagine the possibilities!
