Hot chocolate reaches around 3 feet in height. It bears clusters of flowers in vintage shades of pale reddish orange with a tone of pinkish brown from summer through to autumn.
Not a personal favourite but it certainly catches the eye!

Why yes, Miss V is wearing some sort of goth-ish make-up, though the purple lips are simply the byproduct of a bowl of blueberries.
@ Truffle Treasures in the Glebe. Wow!
I found out about this sweet shop via Apt 613 blog: www.apt613.ca/2010/11/26/best-hot-chocolate-in-town-twitt...
so this is what happens when I try to mix cacao and milk while it's heating in the microwave lol AN EXPLOSION! (couldn't resist taking a photo) lol
Godiva hot chocolate. Rich, creamy, not too sweet, and without a touch of chalkiness, this brand provides one with dark chocolate in a cup, something I than soon manifested itself as glorious fountains in my dreams.
From my entry on Weekends with Pat and Jen.
Yeah, it's late & I've got nuthin'. Well, I've got a K Cup of Hot Chocolate, well actually I have one that I took from my son... and I'm going to prepare it using my son's Keurig. Sure wish I had a Keurig; well I'd wish I had one if I had a kitchen counter to put it on. Oh well. Cheers :-)
I guess this was my Halloween treat, since I did nothing else except take a few videos of the Halloween Chicago Critical Mass ride, which I didn't get to ride on. Cocoa Trio, from Seattle's Best at Borders stores, to those of you not familiar with it, is a totally frivolous expense (well, it does have some caffeine to keep me going), totally unnecessary calories...and it's from a chain store, oh no!
But even though I've tried many, many hot chocolate drinks from independent coffeeshops/cafes around Chicago, and there are a few I could say in some sense are "better," or at least more sophisticated, there's none I like better than Cocoa Trio--hot chocolate with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, white chocolate flakes, and a dark chocolate stick!

i FAIL at using that hot chocolate machine!!! haha.

The 2014 Roger Smith Conference on Food focused on the interrelationships of food, technology, and culture. The story of food technologies through the ages is one of constant change in every aspect of producing, processing, cooking, and talking about the things people eat. By “food technologies” we mean any imaginable means of using and manipulating food, from cracking nuts with a rock to molecular gastronomy. Indeed, the very act of deciding what is or isn’t food is intrinsically bound up with technology. We look forward to interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches examining the flow of influences from food technologies to our culture and environment, and vice versa. We hope to discuss agriculture, cooking paraphernalia, factory-scale manufacturing, artisanal production, and communications (from traditional cookbooks to the internet, apps, and all the brave new world that is now becoming old hat). Anything within this very broad framework is fair game.

Io was out drinking with John, the night before flying to California to visit me some time in the late '80's and he stole the tray as a present. It's always been much appreciated. These days we use it for hot chocolate before going to bed rather than pints of ale.

There are a few things I love for Eddie to make because he always makes them extra awesome. Hot chocolate is one of those things! Today I'm grateful for enjoying my Eddie-made hot chocolate while watching Thursday night TV with him. He adds stuff that I wouldn't normally add on my own - in this case, whipped cream and cinnamon sprinkled on top. :) It's just a packet mix but those extra things make it extra special.
