the perfect closer to a perfect christmas tree hunting adventure? hot chocolate and cookies in a warming house with a cracking wood fire!
thanks for the memories, snowy ridge.
"Wicked" hot chocolate at Jacques Torres' Manhattan-based cocoa fortress. This was an excellent hot chocolate, but I'm still a devotee of the City Bakery version, sludgy as that can be sometimes.
Fry's 5 Boys Milk Chocolate
Desperation Pacification Expectation Acclamation Realisation
Algy's parents had a mirror with the 5 boys advert on which I found hard to look at. Continuing this form I havn't included 'Desperation', of which there is a shot. Though with hot chocolate it would appear that desperation appears after Realisation that mummy has just taken the cup away.

It's officially The Christmas Season at Maple Hoo! I spun Dreamer's Christmas on the turntable and Schnookie made homemade marshmallows for hot chocolate! The Christmas stitching is up on the walls! The shelf in the kitchen is cleared to make space for the mountain of advent calendars that we start opening tomorrow! WOOOOO!!!
The place would be more Christmasy if we'd followed our original plan of going out and getting then hanging the wreaths on the fence but we were both completely wiped out by our morning work outs. We were too wiped out even to play Assassins Creed, so instead we lolled around watching everyone's favorite double-header of "Shame" and "The Lego Movie". Nothing says Christmas like sex addiction and "everything is awesome".

Camilla got a kilo of chocolate ground up for us. You can go into a shop, choose your cocoa beans, level of sugar, and other ingredients (we have cinnamon and almonds in ours) and then they'll grind it up into chocolate paste for you. Once you have that, you need to pour it out and form it the way you want, and then let it get hard and dry out over several days.
This isn't designed for eating, but for drinking as hot chocolate.
Even my marshmellows are Halloween. (And my hot chocolate spiked with Starbucks liqueur from the Partay.)
Just had the most perfect day, slept in, dogsled riding in the forrest and a hot cup og coco by the fire.. I love winter like this! :)
this is hopes4dopes first installment of ‘fan fiction’ but it happens to be a lie this time. this story is actually non-fiction (not fake for the morons out there). this really happened and i really wanted to murder that smirking clerk as he suggested banana flavored hot chocolate even though he KNOWS IM ALLERGIC. he knew right?

I'm thinking the Tourist might be an interesting portrait camera. The out-of-focus areas have that nice swirly effect going on here at f/8.8. Although I don't know about the 6x9 format. Eight exposures per roll is crazy.
Also, aside to GAC: you had mentioned you had an extra static brush somewhere...I think I need it. Dust is killing me.
