Liam had an encounter with gravity (which is kind of funny - sort of - seeing as he had just been playing rather well with gravity and sledding like a champ...) as we were leaving White Park the other day, and smacked his face on the ground.
He was OK - especially when the hot chocolate (or, as he calls it, 'hot chocolate milk') was ready.
"Wicked" hot chocolate at Jacques Torres' Manhattan-based cocoa fortress. This was an excellent hot chocolate, but I'm still a devotee of the City Bakery version, sludgy as that can be sometimes.

Algy's parents had a mirror with the 5 boys advert on which I found hard to look at. Continuing this form I havn't included 'Desperation', of which there is a shot. Though with hot chocolate it would appear that desperation appears after Realisation that mummy has just taken the cup away.

I'd earned a free one on my card*, but decided to pay and get another stamp, but it turned out I had $5 in Borders Bucks that would expire soon (first I'd heard of them), so I took this for free and used the remaining $2.15 on a bargain-bin book, so I got a drink and a novel for a total of 94 cents.
I'll admit one of the main reasons I've kept taking sort-of-365s is that I wanted to keep recording the Cocoa Trios--I've got some from several other states! Also, I'd like to point out that unlike my last Evanston Borders visit, they put all the toppings on my drink this time.

It's officially The Christmas Season at Maple Hoo! I spun Dreamer's Christmas on the turntable and Schnookie made homemade marshmallows for hot chocolate! The Christmas stitching is up on the walls! The shelf in the kitchen is cleared to make space for the mountain of advent calendars that we start opening tomorrow! WOOOOO!!!
The place would be more Christmasy if we'd followed our original plan of going out and getting then hanging the wreaths on the fence but we were both completely wiped out by our morning work outs. We were too wiped out even to play Assassins Creed, so instead we lolled around watching everyone's favorite double-header of "Shame" and "The Lego Movie". Nothing says Christmas like sex addiction and "everything is awesome".
