Just about once a week I take the kids for hot chocolate at our favourite

I like hot chocolate; I really do, but it isn't really the taste that gets me. I love, more than drinking hot chocolate, smelling it. I can't tell you how nice it is to take the cup out of the microwave and take in the aroma of pure "awesomeness" as my brother would put it.

We took a mental health day today; i.e. we played hooky. Lest you question my parenting, I do this max once a year with my kids. We woke up sooooo tired, and I had a day off. They go to their dad's this weekend and I just wanted a mellow day with my babies. They got haircuts, we made cookies, we went out for hot chocolate, video games were played, and the day's only half over...
