This is my friend's nine year old son, Blaze. We met again and hung out, all three of us, at this coffeeshop after school.

He was working on math, and of course, the rare math subject that I'm actually weak on, the metric system.

Amazingly, sangria and math actually mix. So when posed with the question, "How many milliliters in a gram?", I quickly recognized the answer.

Ah, remember when homework was the biggest problem of the day....

I have three tests on monday, so I decided to split up in four and study for allt three of them simultaneously to save some time. Then I'll just merge into one again and take the tests.

I'm afraid the math-me has fallen asleep though...

French Homework Fabric printed by Spoonflower Fabrics.

I collect ephemera and I found a sheet of French Homework at Brimfield's Antique market. I purchased it from my friend Keri of Antique Therapy. As I looked more closely at the homework sheet covered in editing corrections, I thought it would be the perfect subject to turn into fabric.

20150128. Dont you love it when you can do your homework in a tavern? Task was, at ISO 400, shoot a scene requiring a deep dof. My tripod was a 2L beer stein.

I bloody hate homework! I hate setting it, I hate having to be the parent who nags her child to do their spellings! Ben made use of his new work area tonight. Tonight's method was his choice of write with both hands!

Here we are at Hastings, I was helping my little sister Kaye (along with her friend) with her Spanish work, I recorded it and edited it for her.

I chose the portrait option. Instead of playing with depth of field though, I played with the shutter speed. I saw this idea somewhere online and wanted to try it. The umbrella is a big flower and my Mom loves to garden.

As always, how I spend most of my free time.

One of my buddies in class always says his greatest inspiration to do well, is the fear of accidentally killing some one. In the medical field, its definately something that crosses the mind.

Earlier this week we responded to a home for a pediatric seizure. It was a 9 year old girl with a history of grand mal seizures. As I carried her to the ambulance, the reality of the situation set in, this little girl's life was literally in my hands.

The boys taking the time to get Dad's help with their homework.
