Every Friday, Griffin gets a sheet reviewing his week in Kindergarten (what books they read, which letters they focused on, etc.) and on the back side is a Homework exercise to be done over the weekend.
Here is an illustration and description of 5 ways Griffin shows kindness towards others:

Doing Chores

Yawning Homework
This picture was taken with my I phone 4s a, It was hard to get the best yawn out my friend Danial
In this WOW photo I was expressing the emotion of Instinctive . I had set up the shoot with many books and lots of homework on the table and asked Danial to pose in a yawning position. It was about how much stress Danial has to go through school. During that day of the picture my friend had received many homework to deal with. As you can see that he is yawning and dying to stop doing his homework. As you can see the light in the reflection of the table is from the window that was behind me. It was going to a sunset and getting dark.

TOO much homework for a first grader I swear... Maybe just because I'm a bit aggitated tonight but last week she came home with a monthly list of pick 3 things per week to do plus math and reading and prepping 100 spelling words then this week we get this huge list of what to do... Where's the sanity in all of this!!!
Today's Random Fact: My favorite vegetable to eat is grilled fresh picked from the garden preferred but any asparagus will do sprinkled with olive oil and garlic salt... YUM!!! I hated Asparagus growing up and now I can't get enough of it, I like it crispier though and not soft and soggy. I'd rather eat grilled asparagus any day than eat desert...

Olly started year 2 this week and a slip came home in his book bag on Friday giving him some proper homework! He had to research caterpillars (the name of his new class).
He was very excited to get it done today. I showed him how to use Google to find information and print off images. Then we found all the book we had about insects, which thankfully were many due to my previous incarnation as an Usborne book seller. We talked about how to use index pages in reference books and how to decide on what in write and what to leave out.
My love affair for my camera even came in handy because I had a great picture of a caterpillar I'd got spotted in my Grandad's garden a few weeks ago. So I was able to print that off for him.
He was so enthused, and tried so very hard. I was very proud of his efforts.
My Photo Photo For College Homework. Had To Do Somethin Based On The Painting "The Death Of Marat". Tell Me What You Think.

Part of Danielle's kindergarten homework today was to track down pictures of things that began with the letter P. Since I was home sick, I picked her up before A-Plus and helped her with the assignment before my mom got home from work. When Mom's not there to mediate, Danielle and I tend to get a little creative with our options. (Best viewed large.)
