had fun with this one trying to focus on the angel inside the ball and not the ball.

At the beginning of the session the nose was still present. When the background was applied the nose disappeared mystically. :-/

Holiday Bokeh for Macro Mondays

Really liked the idea of Bokeh this week, been meaning to have a go at this for ages after reading about it. Two robot Christmas tree decorations and some lights in jars plus several attempts at getting the right amount of light and focus, simple really!! HMM.

I really should give this little dog a name - any thoughts? I bought this little cutie and his purple terrier counterpart on a business trip back to the UK quite a few years ago which unexpectedly coincided with my sister travelling back to England at the very same time. She stayed with me at my hotel in London for a couple of days then went to see our family & friends up North and I joined her over that weekend at my brother's house, in what turned out to be a kind of impromptu pre-Christmas family reunion. It was a fun and very special trip and I remember it each time I put this little pup and his friend on the tree at Christmas :-)
