An out-of-focused picture of the Christmas tree. I love the bokeh so much, but my camera makes me work for it :(

Nonetheless, I love how the smaller different color lights make this picture so beautiful.

This butterfly was taken in a butterfly house at the Jardin du Monde in Western France.

Day 358: A few hours late in posting, but it was a late, late night. I ran over to our neighbor's yard to take advantage of the holiday bokeh while I could. Merry Christmas everyone!

Week 48: "Artistic: Bokeh. A shallow depth of field is often used to isolate the subject. Create an artistic interpretation using shallow depth of field." I'm almost to the end of this year-long challenge! Happy holidays, everyone! #Dogwood52

I know once again this post is late but HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone. I hope everyones New Year has started off with a bang. It's doesn't even feel like a New Year to me but so far it has been a really good one. This is my second attempt at an all bokeh photo. I think it's a bit better. I'm still working on it though. :)

Just when my husband thought it was safe to take down the tree, I had to get just one more holiday bokeh shot. I can't seem to get enough - what am I going to do when the holidays are over?
