This variety of Limacodid caterpillar closely resembles the more common "Bullseye" variety (see them HERE) and is presumably of the same genus.
I have given each individual variety of Limacodid larvae a descriptive superhero-style name in the title of the image. This species has the name "Hole-in-one". This is for my own reference mainly because practically none of these caterpillars are identified (maybe even ever formally) and this will allow me to group the growing number of images I have into their like-kinds including the various instars I have captured. The names will be included as tags.

Earlier, I made it past the new stream (now the South Fork) and what used to be pasture on the old Ramey place and shot this from the new stream. There are at least 3 fissures through the pasture from here to the house beyond the shed. The flood ripped out the fence around Ramey and after I was able to drive up the repaired road from the south, I parked at Broley and I made it over to the old Ramey farm and got interested in the house, wooden sheds and stone shed. I have already posted several shots of Ramey and how the pasture got ripped up by newly cut streams through the place. In fact walking across the pasture and through the structures involves tracking around all the fissures through the place. Her is another. I have a Ramey photoset under farms. A lot of the shots are at better times. I guess this is another loss to water diversions and gravel mining. The 61st street road has been rebuilt down to the 63rd Street bridge past the gate at Broley and I can now drive in. I walked the river road out behind Broley and noticed the Ramey fences were gone to Nebraska and I could access what used to be Ramey. I parked at the Broley gate and walked down to Ramey. Apparently, the water streamed up to 4 feet high over Ramey. I guess the pond south of Broley overflowed everywhere including Ramey after the floods cut through the gravel pits around Broley and sliced through 61st Street and met the old St.Vrain.
I walked south to toward This shot shows more of the Ramey structures which I have documented at closer range. Water cut any new course it decided. There seems no reason to the starts and the ends of the fissures.I snuck around the barricade on north 63rd street and around to the washed out bridge in front of the old Broley farm. The St.Vrain flows to my left and the new cut is at my feet; the fissures cutting across are new to the once flat pasture. Two rivers now converge in front of Broley. The St.Vrain floods cut through the gravel pits around Broley and sliced through 61st Street to create a new cut to meet the old St.Vrain. I decided to drive around and get some real disaster shots over toward Broley, to my right, now a small island. Let's face it; the bridge was never very well designed to withstand big waters. The farmers are screaming about rebuilt ditches before spring. Their crops actually create oxygen.
We finally received help from the feds and this time out, they were working on the channel cut across 61st.

A natural setting at one of the most beautiful golf courses in California. Located on a bluff above the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean in Half Moon Bay, California. The golfer, standing with his hands in the air at the 17th tee, has just scored a hole-in-one.......drinks all around!
The flowers seen in the foreground of this photo are California poppies (Eschscholzia californica). These silky-textured flowers grow wild in California and have been designated as the official state flower.
Porto Santo Golf Club is located in the Island of Porto Santo North east of Madeira; a picturesque island 11 km long and 6 km wide with a charming 9 km sandy beach.
The golf course is 6,434 metres and was designed by Severiano Ballesteros

Someone (Kathryn Christman) inspired me to experiment more with water, and capturing its movement. What i did here was drop a "golf ball" into a glass of water to create this splash. (The black background is a black t-shirt being help up my little brother)
After i look at this shot for a while, i get really thirsty lol.

This cake was ordered by some colleagues to celebrate a golfer's 50th birthday. The theme is a hole in one - it was a fun cake to make!
The former dining room of the Santo da Serra Tea House is the current Avó Micas Restaurant. The restaurant has a breakfast service with home-made specialities and offers a food menu which includes traditional recipes.

El pasado 6 de junio se llevó a cabo la Décima Copa UAEM 2011 en el club de golf “La Hacienda” ubicado en Atizapán de Zaragoza, Estado de México. El torneo se jugó con 36 fivesomes en la modalidad A-go-go.
La Fundación UAEMéx participó en esta copa con el equipo formado por: Isaac Arroyo, Arturo Garza, León Pallares, Fernando Peña Garavito y Luis Arévalo quienes pusieron el nombre de nuestra Fundación en alto al obtener el tercer lugar de la tabla general.
Del mismo modo, individualmente, Fernando Peña Garavito obtuvo el premio al O´yes en el hoyo 9 con un tiro que se ubicó a sólo 1.10mts del hole-in-one.
