This weeks theme couldn't have hit at a better time. When you look in and around and see things as you should see them. Sometimes it isn't all roses and sunshine. But you can always find your way out of those moments by looking further.. and loving yourself first and foremost and realizing not everyone or everything is as it seems.

Just about as close as I can get shooting hand held with a conventional macro lens. This one was extremely lucky, or the physics gods were with me that day.
We'll see if I can do better with the new lens, once dragonfly season arrives again.
A fresh BNSF ET44C4 crosses over the San Pedro Subdivision diamond at Hobart Tower. Closed two decades ago and rapidly crumbling, the tower at Hobart would eventually be demolished in early 2019.

The window, the merchandise, the ad, the shop, it all works in a mysterious way to open the pocketbook for a moment of weakness, acting on the single glimpse.
In the late afternoon and evening huge supercells developed over northwestern France. They clustered into a linear MCS (Mesoscale Convective System), racing towards Flanders and the North Sea.
So it missed my location.
However, the storms' gustfront moved away as an outflow boundary in northeasterly direction.
On this boundary air was lifted and some new showers and storms developed near my location in the western Netherlands.
The result is in this picture.
