Me with the American Express climbing team at the top of Mount Whitney, California. This was part of a national event organized by Bruce Marshall, an Amex Financial Planner. The "Apex Challenge" teamed American Express employees & highpointers across the U.S. to be on everystate highpoint on the same day. Ham radio operators relayed the event across the country.
I hiked this mountain with two Nikon cameras, three lens, and a tripod...plus my backpack with food and water. We took two days to do the summit since we were going as a team. This is my first geographical high point.
Mount Whitney is the highest summit in the contiguous United States with an elevation of 14,505 feet (4,421 m).
This building was once part of the former Muskegon Mall (now demolished). It also use to housed a community bank, that now being converted into condominiums.

It was a great little stadium, and the announcer/DJ guy did a GREAT job matching up song snippets to actions on the field. I was impressed!
The highest point of elevation in New Jersey (1,803 feet). It is marked by a large obelisk in High Point State Park.
