Tour de Watertower is an urban bike race organized by www.gomeansgo.org. Twenty five registrants ride a 33 mile urban course that includes seven water towers. Racers started from Capitol Hill in two minute intervals to race the clock around the course. The first two stops were in West Seattle at High Point and Charlestown.

The summit of Sassafrass Mountain is 3,560 feet (1085 m) above sea level. There isn't really much of a view, but there are some interesting forest scenes nearby. The area was recently vandalized and was strewn with broken glass. This was once property of an energy company, and after some property transfer issues are worked out the state will improve the area.
The highpoint is at the base of the survey marker stick on the left, and the benchmark is on top of the little cement column.
It was a high point but under scrutiny it's blurry and pixelated. My memory of this unremarkable moment is surely eroded, but somehow I feel I felt as nostalgic then as I do now. No one likes to talk about feelings, don't worry, I won't say this to your face. I hope we see each other soon naturally and not from me badgering you with "when are we going to chill??". I don't have a lot to offer except a bottle of booze, maybe a dime bag, maybe, and we'll probably have to call your dealer. I miss you, did I say that already? I miss you because I was myself around you, that's why I liked you and that's why you left. I can pour my heart into a flickr description all I want but at some point I'll have to move on. You're the one that told me that. Not the part about flickr, the part about moving on and shit. I drag myself out of this reminiscent daydream and on through the photostream.

Highpoint I was the first of two apartment blocks erected in the 1930s on one of the highest points in London, England at Highgate. The architectural design was by Russian-born architect Berthold Lubetkin, the structural design by Danish engineer Ove Arup and the construction by Kier.
Britton Hill, Florida's highpoint, is the lowest state highpoint in the U.S. at 325 feet. This is my 19th state highpoint visited.

The top of Hoye Crest on Backbone Mountain in Maryland. The Highpointers club added the mailbox, where they keep a log and certificates. Others have built a cairn to the right of the sign. I added a rock. My stick, which I bought in Red Rock Canyon near Las Vegas, is leaning against it.
Just beyond this sign is the Monongalia National Forest.
