Photo taken Feb. 2008 near the highpoint of the route into the Elfin Lakes in Garibaldi Park above Squamish. This area is very popular in the winter for its backcountry and cross country skiing. In the summer it is a great hiking area.

I went to Ireland. Saw pretty girls, the Queen and police guarding the streets. I assumed the police were guarding the Queen but then I saw the real center of their focus. I had arrived at the motherland! Every pint was great and well presented with a clover leaf. Every trip has it's highpoints.

In these scans we have first a flyer advertising the sale of the second and revised edition of McCorkle's book, Rhymes from the Delta, the second book is a first edition Poems of Perpetual Memory. Both of the books are very rare and the flyer being extremely rare. I have had the books for over 20 years and I bought these at local auctions. The flyer was in a box of things my brother had stored from auctions and I bought that from him.

The cairn marks the highpoint of Louisiana, Driskill Mountain, elevation 535 feet (163 meters) above sea level.

The picture is of "Guru" Jack Longacre, the founder of the Highpointers club. He had some of his ashes scattered here 3 years ago.

The box holds the visitors' register. Some geocachers were here just a few days before I was.
