High Zagros subzone
All the areas to the west of Dorud- Borujerd up to the east of Khorramabad is in "High Zagros" or "Zagros Thrust zone". This zone is separated from Sanandaj-Sirjan zone by Dorud fault. It is transitionally changed to Zagros folded belt.
The general structural trend in high Zagros is NW-SE, but the deformation is rather complex and the structural trend, due to complex structural strain pattern do not obey the general NW-SE Zagros trend.
Evaporitic – Platform sequences of Late Precambrian – Middle Triassic is only exposed in southern corner (Zard Kuh). Carbonatic Jurassic – Cretaceous sequences are the most abundant lithostratigraphic units which are typically exposed in Kuh-e-Mishparvar and Kuh-e-Garin. In these areas dolomites of Neyriz formation (Lower Jruassic), Surmeh formation carbonates (Middle-Upper Jurassic) and thick bedded to massive crushed cretaceous limestones constitute the main heights. Late Cretaceous rocks of Neocomian – Senomanian are comparable with Fahliyan, Darian and Sarvak formations.
Upper Cretaceous rocks (Campanian – Maestrichtian are very similar to Gurpi formation and Amiran Flysch.
The structural model of high Zagros is the result of interaction of thrust faults resulting in thrusting of voluminous rock sheets from NE to SW. They are generally low angle thrust faults Mylonitization in hanging wall and lower wall is conspicuous. The thrust surface and their spatial configuration are not similar every where thrusting is very widespread s that all the area is composed of thrust sheets which are either single or part of duplex structures.
I took this photograph at Mc Lean's corner during the Invited Pre-1961 Sports & GT Cars Race at the SeeRed meeting at Donington Park in May 2011. It's Ned Spieker in his 1948 Frazer Nash High Speed leading the 1955 Aston Martin DB2/4 of James Campbell. The Frazer Nash, which is chassis 421/100/004, has a 2-litre Bristol engine and was originally delivered to a Frantisek Dobry of Czechoslovakia in December 1948. After Harold Adlington and Norman Culpan finished in third place at the 1949 Le Mans 24 Hour race in Frazer Nash High Speed chassis 421/100/008 subsequent cars were known as Frazer Nash Le Mans models.

High visibility not only means that everything can see you, but that you can see everything! Such is the nature of predatory birds, that in their effort to see their prey, they open themselves to being seen by their prey. But they more than make up for that by simply being smarter and better at what they do than the critters they eat.
This photo is from the first roll of film that I shot,...then accidentally exposed to light. This was a collage of some items from high school, my varsity letter, my basketball shoes, my yearbook that I opened to a random page and it turned out to be the page of one of my best friends. I thought the effect on the slide was cool.
There are many better pictures taken of this historical and highly significant monument, however please see my capture
A heavy downpour whilst this shot was being taken made it hard to get a sharp image. Instead of leaving it on the hard-drive & forgetting about it, decided to adjust it. This is so it detracts away from it being a bad shot, in a way, salvaging it.
Here a five car 165 heads towards London Marylebone. Shot taken from the top deck of the station car park.

I was so SHOCKED to have found it, and on my birthday! How appropriate. It must have been the Monster High Gods watching over me, because I didn't think these would be out until next month. THANK YOU JESUS! :)

Michael's High-Lite Spinner at the Rumba on the Lumber event. My wife and I usually go together to this event but she had to work. I still took the camera and snapped a few pictures at the festival.
