Hope you're not getting too bored of these. It's another one from my sunrise shoot last week. Not had chance to go out for a while. Not as happy with the composition on this one but I like the fact it includes Over Owler Tor on the right as well as Carl Wark on the left. The light was really good too.
Looking from Higger Tor, Peak District, UK.
The last shot of the day before I hurriedly headed back down to the car. With the rain was fast approaching, I decided to call it a day. The view from Higger Tor, using the Shelter Stones as mid ground interest, and Over Owler Tor in the distance.

We had planned to go last week, but the weather was awful. Yesterday the weather was lovely. The brisk breeze was a bit of a challenge for photographing the heather and the flowers weren't at their best but Higger Tor was looking fantastic yesterday.

I thought it was just overcast when I set out, but I quickly realised that nope it was in fact misty.
Whilst shooting this I had people sitting down and watching (they just stared so I felt awkward and stopped) and various people talking to me (which is cool). Weather was still warm with good breeze (I'm British so it has to be commented on) although it looks set to be stormy and rainy for the rest of the week.
Arrived here to capture the sunset in hope that the sun would peak through the heavy clouds just at the right point in time. It didn't in the end and instead started to rain, but this already looks quite impressive.
Due to the hard contrast between the bright and dark sky and the foreground, this photo is blended from three hand-held bracketed exposures using Enfuse. Post processing using Color Efex 4 and some saturation changes and dodge and burn in Photoshop.
