I love the colour in the Peak District during the summer months, I always try and get some photos when the heather is in bloom.
This morning was very windy so I used an ND filter to blur the movement of the clouds. Exposure was 10 seconds.
he heather bloom is only a month away (or thereabouts) but I fancied a little splash of colour on the grid.
This was the final morning of my camping trip last year and was the first shot I took as light started to break. It's not the best composition I've ever framed up but it's a great memory for me.

Classic Higger Tor View. Unbelievably windy conditions, no tripod, handheld..surprised it was sharp with no rain drops :)
Thanks for looking.
Fog was forecast all over the Peak District today. I decided to go to this location because I have never seen an inversion here, Thankfully the weather forecast was spot on and I got to witness these wonderful conditions and got this shot of the Kit Kat stones.
Overcast on Higger Tor. Although no direct light this has to be my favourite kind on weather. I could hardly stand up straight but watching the dramatic storms clouds evolve and change across the valley is an awesome sight.
