lol hershey was playing around and then he went on top of his wheel... and then this. I think he likes that spot because after i helped him out he went right back in, and can get out on his own.
HELP! Why is my canary bald??? She sits in a sunny position, has plenty of vitamins in the form of broccoli, fruit pieces and has calcium from her cuttle fish. I use a mite spray in her cage and clean it every week. She has a regular bath.
Why is she losing feathers? What am I doing wrong??????
The girl in the yellow works for the store and was helping the woman with her groceries. The temperature was about 10 degrees Farenheit and the wind chill was below zero.
They just don't pay some people enough for what they are asked to do.

i was going through some of my pics from the summer and found some that wasnt very good but i saved them because i didnt know the id of the bird in the photograph. any id help would be great. all 3 photos were taken back in the summer in logan county , southern part of WV in the usa.

This butterfly landed next to a flower where I was photographing the "clearwings butterfly". Even with its tattered wings I decided to take some pictures since it seemed to "insist". When I went to delete some photos of this butterfly, I noticed “something” on the tip of the proboscis. A tiny red ant!
In the sequence of shots (mostly very bad) it seemed that the butterfly was trying to take out the ant with their feet, rolled and unrolled proboscis. Unsuccessful attempts.
Poor butterfly ... perhaps she was “asking” me for help!

Another one from this evening in June, shameless anthropomorphising but I've never seen an animal look so sad, that look is almost accusatory as well; gives me goosebumps.
With one week left of slaughtering badgers there's an urgent need for people to join the friendly camps and patrols in Gloucestershire and especially Somerset. The Gloucestershire cull has been a complete farce because of all the brave souls stopping the killers, things in Somerset though haven't gone as well for our beautiful badgers. There's every chance the killing will be extended into November, just donating a pound towards petrol money helps to protect our blameless badgers : )
