I need your help to pick photos for an upcoming urban exploration themed gallery show. Please add to fave (or comment) the ones in this photoset you like best.
The members of our pilgrimage were honored to be able to help transport the decorative items Our Lady wore. (After taking this picture, I was selected to help hold the staff whilst the ceremony went on.) In the background, you can see the upper choir loft grille. This particular one looked out over the whole sanctuary.
Firefighter watching over us at Wacken Open Air campground.
You can also see an ADAC car - many people had problems with their cars, especially after listening to music for days (surprisingly the battery was empty and they needed a jump start).

Um, yeah, I'd be screaming for help too if I found that guy. I like how the full body shot seems to have been taken in a blood-stained cement dungeon of some sort.
Puppy with mange on Serangan island, Bali.
The health issues of dogs on Bali has been an ongoing problem but there are groups out there helping poor creatures such as this, however, politics are causing numerous groups to close their doors. It is a sad plight and miserable for those who are left to suffer in silence without a human voice............
back at the graveyard late this afternoon, I set the flash on my camera, no fog at all as you can see, its not smoke and it cant be my breath the camera was at arms length, so what is this cloud?
It was such a nice neighborhood, South of the Boulevard.
One day it was "Bumps," the next it was a desperate cry for help.
UPDATE: switching color matching to Monitor Profile fixed it. Thanks to Flickr user ~andre for figuring out this subtle issue!
The top frame is the RAW picture in DPP, after adjusting for white balance and some tone curves. I then used Convert and Save to convert it to a JPG and resize it to 2400x1600. The bottom frame is the resultant JPG, opened in Preview. What gives? It's like it didn't save any of the corrections. I've honestly never had this problem before. I restarted DPP several times, no luck.
AH! Edited to note that my dear, patient husband figured out that DPP is not saving the white balance correction if it's done via the Color Temperature setting. ARGH. Nor is it saving it if I change it to, say, Tungsten from whatever the in-camera setting was. The only thing that works is keeping the original setting, or using click white balance.
DPP 3.7.3, on OS 10.5.8.
