I took this a couple of weeks ago while riding the Fred Meijer Heartland Bike Trail. This used to be an airport but it is now a dragstrip. The bike trail passes the end of the dragstrip and the heatwaves caught my attention. I wasn't going to post it but the recent heatwave around the globe made me think that this was appropriate.

One crazy heatwave - suddenly the hot-weather switch was turned on! Lucky us... we have been counting down the days and weeks for some hot weather!

On one of the hottest April day's on record, Arriva Buses Wales VDL Cadet 2523 - DK55 FXH descends the hill from Meliden towards Dyserth working route 35 Circular to Rhyl. Graig Fawr dominates the background offering magnificent views of the area from the summit.
Benni has to go out BEFORE 7 a.m. this week to have it cool enough to run. So we just go to our neighborhood park and hope we have it all to ourselves.
The days are close to 100 F., nights cooling down to high 70's. Thank heavens for A.C.
The heatwave continues here in England - and I am not complaining! Grasses once green are now bleached yellow and off-white and dry air makes horizons misty.

We've had quite the heatwave here in San Diego; temperatures have been as high as 120 degrees! With the monsoonal weather pressure coming from the East and the Hurricane's from the South it's stirred up some colorful skies. Last night I decided to take my daughter out with me on our first sunset together. It was beautiful, it was hot, and I probably won't do that for a while unless mom's there to hold her; mainly because it wasn't easy setting up this simple shot with a one year old on my hip!

Sorry for not posting guys. I feel really bad. School kinda takes up most of my day so yea. It’s been really hot tho so that inspired me to make this Heatwave. I think he needs some orange but I don’t want it to look out of place. He uses a random helmet and goggles, Rebel pilots head, a sandtroopers torso and legs, and the prototype Boba Fetts hip piece.
