16. Do you get stressed out easily? Only when it is school related.

18. What is on your wrists right now? Three bracelets and a hair tie.

22. Ever stayed up all night on the phone, with who? Texting, yes. On the phone, no.

First conceptual photography i have ever done. I waited and waited for that little droplet to fall but it never did. The red poster colour i use was a little too thick i guess.
We found these heart-shaped confetti leftovers on our traditional New Year's Day morning walk at the lake.
There have been two zoo animals that I have felt a strong connection with, the first was Bandit. I met her in 1995 at the National Zoo. There was something about that first meeting that I knew she would be a favorite. She was just that special.
People have asked me why I chose the name ucumari, it comes from "ucumari, bear with mystical power" from her native land.
Bandit will be greatly missed, no zoo will ever be the same for me.

In railway stations, lovers are either happy or heartbroken.
During the early hours of today, my beloved little Chihuahua, Choco, passed over the Rainbow Bridge. He was the youngest of my brood and the most lively and robust, we'd never dreamed that we'd be saying goodbye to him at just 7 years old. I'm just heartbroken, I never knew I had so many tears inside me. Choco 'Baudouin' you're going to be soooo missed.
This dog was so adorable. He followed us around the entire island of Inis OÃrr and then boarded our ferry when we tried to leave. He stood on the pier as the ferry pulled away and looked heartbroken.
The news is bad - her beloved William is lost at sea. She is heartbroken.

Bed: I built it from a kit when I was 15 and made the pillows, bedskirt, and gray blanket this spring. I covered the mattress with fabric from a men's shirt. The "lace" edging is a vintage women's handkerchief. Pillows filled with flax seed.

After an awful drive home today in torrential rain from looking after Elodie, I thought I'd remind myself of balmier days !
Sadly the swans are no longer at our local park after one of them was killed and it's heartbroken mate left ...... :o((
A month ago, I was heartbroken to learn that the allotment gardens where I have my plot were to be closed indefinitely, due to precautions to limit the spread of COVID-19. But then...people mobilized....and the province deemed the gardens an essential service. We have new regulations that we need to follow in order to keep everyone safe, but we have access to our gardens. The benefits are vast, from mental and physical health, to eventual fresh food. I am beyond thrilled.
It is with heartbroken sorrow that my beloved friend Whiskey is no longer at my side.
I have been so lucky and truly blessed to share his short but wonderful life. I will dearly miss him more than words can ever say, "he was the love of my life and always will be".
Some of you may know he had kidney failure in August of last year but rallied round and lived life to the full as best as he could. Regrettably towards the end of last month his illness returned with no hope of him recovering and sadly was put to sleep in my arms.
I still have quite a few photographs taken from the walks we took during those few months and from time to time I will cherish uploading them onto this wonderful Flickr site.

On Thursday afternoon I had an upsetting appointment with a specialist at OHSU. I found out I am facing at least one, likely two more surgeries, to correct the problems left over from my hysterectomy in December. I am heartbroken, I am unsure how to pay for them, and I am incredibly frustrated and angry.
I got home from my appointment and was put in the car by my fiance. We picked up our BFF's girlfriend, and drove hours and hours to Crescent Lake in the Deschutes National Forest.
Other friends had gone in on Wednesday to secure campsites for us all, and we joined them at sunset. We spent Friday boating, tubing, and playing like children in the downright tropical water of the lake. It was warm, blue and green, and irresistible. We played bocce ball, grilled too much food to mention, drank, laughed, swam, boated, even took a side trip to Crater Lake just an hour away. Over the course of my three days in the woods on cell-phone lock-down, I left feeling human again.
I took many photos this weekend of our friends, a large group of us, a slightly crazy group of us, but this was our last night. Around our campsite on the lake, between sunset and moonrise. The fire was roaring, the laughter was echoing across the lake, and I sat on the shore and looked back and saw the trees lit up and knew I needed this image. The people you see there made my heart so, so happy. For three days I was healthy again. And for that I cannot thank my friends enough.
one thing i will never understand is love. people come and go. i feel so alone now. i feel a lot of bad feelings i thought i would never feel. i just don't like being so sad. i don't like feeling my dignity walked out the my front door this morning... without any intention of or interest in coming back. you know that feeling of emptiness that replaces happiness you had only hours before? that's what i've got. the blues.
