The route up to Llyn Idwal and Devils Kitchen, stunning views from here and so much interest, this will have to become a regular location for me. Can't wait to see it in many different conditions. Even the path up there creates so many lines and textures, a real goldmine for images from start to finish.
Heading out this morning
Into the sun
Riding on the diamond waves
Little darling one
Warm wind caress her
Her lover it seems

The GLC's Owosso north job is on the roll through Ashley heading back to Owosso as the sun dips over the horizon. The reason for their late return is evidenced by the nose of 329 which still caries the damage and some corn from an earlier grade crossing encounter with a farmer's gravity wagon. None the less, I couldn't resist the opportunity with this timing & sky. Ashley, MI 10/18/2024
I'll be off for a few days as I make my way from Tucson to Michigan. I'll see you soon. Happy Trails.
Thank you for taking a look at my images. I certainly appreciate it.
I'm apart of a photography blog with Meg and our friends Andy and Staci, called his and hers. For each month this year there is a theme or word that you have to capture in a photograph. This month the theme was Self Portrait. Challenging! Not my normal genre in photography :) - but that's the idea.. to grow, to learn, to try new forms of photography that we might not all have ventured into fully so far in this world of photography. Here is one of my submissions for this month. You can check out our blog here: his and hers
Tonight I leave for a two week trip to Asia. Excited to visit parts of the world I've never been before!

Now that she had her coffee she was ready to head out. Everything was done and taken care of. She only got a few steps away from the coffee shop when her phone rang. Looking at the number she was confused as to why they would call. Curious, she answered the phone. . . .
The daily M338 manifest train rolling over the hill just West of Nesbit Rd in rural Jesup, Iowa I have not shot anything on the line East of Waterloo for over a month. This was right before the heavy flooding shut this line down West of Waterloo for several days
Walking down into the forest at the moment is a fantastic sight with the deciduous trees putting on a great display.
