Spotted a cruiser heading out this AM. Our red lighthouse now is white. Primer I find out. Getting a new coat of red.

The Flying Scotsman finally moves from its winter home at Shildon in county Durham. The photo was taken just north of Northallerton on a very cold day. The train gods smiled on me this day as it stayed dry.

I took this one of the fellow across the aisle on our flight from Victoria to Vancouver.

A dive boat (I think, though it may be a fishing vessel) heading for the safety of St. Abbs' harbour with its 3 sections offering protection from the northerly & easterly winds which can cause very big seas along this coastline.

As the sunset in Cheltenham, folk were keen to get home.

Heading up the Ohio River and under the Roebling Bridge. This local boat returned a half hour later without a barge..out for a ride?

Heading back to the dock. Sundown with blue hour gradually encroaching on the warm glow.

Bridge Lake is an unincorporated recreational community located at the eastern end of Bridge Lake in the Interlakes District of the South Cariboo region of the Interior of British Columbia, Canada. Its centre is the small Bridge Lake General Store.

One of the few photo angles one can get of the railroad in Lauderdale, the Minnesota Commercial comes on home from the Belt Yard approaching Park Junction as seen from Hennepin Avenue.

A lone yacht glides quietly up the Derwent River towards Hobart.

Continuing our rod trip through the beautiful northern Norwegian landscape we left the Lofoten, heading Narvik-

 

We were four friends travelling in two vans, one VW bus, and one Mercedes bus from Berlin, Germany all the way up to the North Cape in Norway in 1977.

 

I took the photo in 1977 with an analogue Asahi Pentax SP II (M42) camera and Kodachrome ISO 64 slide film, then digitalised by using a a Nikon Coolscan film scanner and further edited in Photoshop Lightroom.

The hummingbirds and gardens have all moved on and it's time for us to do the same. We're driving to Tucson with a truckload of hummingbird feeders. Haha, only 6.

This old barn near Lyndon,IL. is heading off to the sunset. Should have been razed years ago, but county regulations make that an expensive process. It has to be put in dumpsters and taken to the landfill. The county has their reasons, but the expenses keep many old buildings up till the bitter end....
