I have been gone this past week and the orioles have been in big numbers at our house. They are still there! We have never had this many orioles at our house - we counted as many as seven. They LOVE the oranges and the grape jelly. Hope they want to stay all summer. Such pretty birds. Taken on Saturday May 12th, 2018.
Might have used this title a few times before (for different things.)

Curug Seribu is a 330 ft tall waterfall located at Mt. Salak, an active volcano in West Java. Mt. Salak is considered to be a mystic place by the locals since there have been many people who died there. Earlier this year a Russian jetliner fell and all 46 passengers and crews died. Furthermore, there had been 6 more airplanes fallen in this area in the past 10 years. And in this particular waterfall, there were 4 people drowned last year; their bodies were found 2 days later at 33ft deep under the falls.
I took some shots and then quickly went on my way out of that area :)
Having never photographed a Cormorant before, I never realised what brilliant green eyes they have. They also look like they belong in Jurassic park!!! However, this was taken in my local Dare Valley Country Park :-)
Thanks to Creations for Charity the hallowed story of the Gypsy Queen squadron has another chapter...
What's the story you ask? It all started years ago when Stijn built the MATSF-5000E Superbanshee II SE which was gifted to none other than Keith, who in turn honoured Stijn's gift with an epic build - the Gypsy Queen, You are cleared for Launch.
Which, was in turn homaged by yours truly with Operation Oscar as my launch pad to try to bribe voters at every convention with my FrogPODs (it didn't work).
So I finally got to not only meet Mr. Goldman and partake in one of his epic layouts, he but gifted me one of the Gyspy Queens.
The last, would be donated to C4C - where it would be up for grabs by anyone.
... but what fun would that be? Plus it'd be a horrible way to end the story of the Gypsy Queens....
Instead, I seized the oppurtunity to dictate where the last Gyspy Queen would land...
So now I have two.
I don't really need two.
I just need one.
So where will the last one go?
Someone will get a nice Xmas present.

Why not make some kid's christmas better too? There are plenty of awesome mocs in Creations for Charity store, so why not make your holidays, and some kid's holiday that much brighter?
Having a blue period it seems . Must be the BOY screaming to come. No chance of that ha ha ha . He is locked away and the key is nowhere to be seen.
Anyway enough of that silliness. Here i am looking forward to wearing the lovely dress thats hanging on the wall,
Well you know what it looks like on, have to say it doesn't look so great on the hanger,
I have never seen firsthand the kind of reaction which Sebastian provoked as we walked the streets of Stockholm. Everyone looks at him. Sometimes discreetly, sometimes unabashedly; sometimes curiously, sometimes enviously; sometimes derisively, sometimes lustfully (at least that's how I read them), but I didn't see anyone we passed who didn't look at him. I don't mean they saw him: they looked at him. I'm sure beautiful people know nothing else, but there must be a point at which beauty becomes a curse.
This was taken by the Katarina elevator during the day's last few minutes of incredibly pinkish orange sunlight.
"Beauty is indeed a good gift of God; but that the good may not think it a great good, God dispenses it even to the wicked." - St Augustine
Stockholm, 2011.
I have never thought of Obby as a 'spymaster'....but upon reflection....what else is he doing when he seemingly cuddles up on my pillow while I'm reading? Hmmph! The little stinker. I look at him a bit askance these days since this revelation. Happy Caturday to all our friends...both four and two legged! (Sorry for the distorted photo...it looks good on my photo stream but is elongated on the group site. Sheesh!)
I have no idea which fungus this is, but I thought it quite striking with its strong chestnut colouring and black markings!
The stump is that patch of greyish brown in the middle!
Everybody have a great holiday!
