Here is an angle where you can see the divider that helps hold the cardboard insert in place and from sliding around. Plus it gives you a little side storage place.

This is my second Cinelli MASH fixed-gear build: Crook Type 3...built as a replacement for the original Crook, which was ridden on Aids Lifecycle 9 2010, from SF to LA. Yes, we did it fixed! I sold the frame and overhauled the bike as a conceptual metamorphosis in the wake of all those miles. The green of this variant is hard to capture on film. It's amazing!

The Speck SeeThru Hard Shell for 13" (white) MacBook. It snapped on with no muss nor fuss. Jen picked this Speck case out for her own laptop (versus the Incase), going with the striking red only because blue wasn't available. The material is extremely reflective and eye catching from across the room. The material seems strong, if not potentially brittle. The individual cutouts for some of the ports on the left side are a nice touch. The "clips" that hold the case onto the MacBook are more prominent than on the Incase, but the Speck gets points for placing its logo on the bottom, rather than using the laptop lid for advertising (as with the Incase).

VERY RARE and hard to find. Manufactured 2007-2011. Limited Edition. First time out of the box. Complete with TAMA hard case and all the eye candy that was supplied when NEW. 2008.

TAMA Warlord 'Masai'. 6"x14" African Twilight finish. BRAND NEW.

Like the proud and aloof warrior of the African savanna, the Warlord Masai is powerful and indomitable. The 12ply 10mm shell of 100% Bubinga provides extraordinary low end punch, clear highs and cutting edge attack. A beautifully figured outer-ply of quilted Bubinga in African Twilight finish with a black center burst is a perfect match for the Warlord lugs.

The Tama Warlord Collection Masai Snare Drum is crafted from beautiful exotic bubinga wood and knockout Warlord hardware that makes this snare a visual and aural masterwork.

Warlord Collection hardware studded with jet black Swarovski crystals finish out the Masai drum in grand style. High-quality Evans drum heads provide great tone out of the box. Tama includes a case with the Warlord Collection Masai Snare Drum.

My helmet on treehugger

www.treehugger.com/files/2009/07/lacoste-helmet.php#ch01

Bike helmets aren't exactly lauded for their fashion-forwardness. (Hello, helmet hair!) For a noggin protector that doesn't make you look like a sweaty quarterback or someone who's making a grab for the Tour de France championship title, take a gander at designer Kyle J. Ferguson's eco-friendly concept helmet for Lacoste.

Comprising sustainable materials like organic wool, thermoformed bio-plastic, low-density cork and soy-based foam, Ferguson's helmet is, in his own words, "well-suited to leisurely rides around town, running errands, or commuting."

Female urban professionals between the ages of 19 and 40 are Ferguson's target demographic, since research by the Snell Memorial Foundation notes a higher incidence of injury among cyclists in that bracket.

Meanwhile, Granta Material Intelligence's findings that cork has comparable energy-absorption properties to expanded polystyrene foam inspired his use of the renewable material for the helmet's inner shell.

To create a "less-technical" appearance and conceal the hardshell's interior vents, Ferguson clad his helmet with breathable organic wool in a fetching herringbone tweed.

The Incase Hardshell Case for 15" MacBook Pro. I chose the Incase over Speck because I liked the rubberized, matte surface, and the build quality seemed sturdier (but that's purely conjecture). It snapped on easily, and a nice touch was the battery power meter button passthrough. The "clips" that secure the Incase to the laptop are more subtle than on the Speck, but I'm not a fan of how Incase embosses its own logo on the lid (whereas the Speck advertises only on the bottom piece).

My main complaint about the Incase was the right rear lower corner would catch on the MBP screen edge when I opened it up, making a teeth-gnashing snapping sound. I ended up filing down the edge a tiny bit, and now it opens without catching or rubbing. For something that costs so much and brags about how finely its engineered, though, this seems like a big flaw.

TAXONOMY

Kingdom: Animalia

Phylum: Chordata

Subphylum: Vertebrata

Class: Actinopterygii

Order: Perciformes

Family: Labridae: (Wrasses)

Genus/species Choerodon fasciatus

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS: Vertical, broad, bright orange bands interspersed with blue bands. Black caudal peduncle, white tail. Dorsal and pelvic fins orange. As it ages the back half of the body darkens to a dark blue/purple color. The mouth has large blue teeth is a very distinctive feature.

Length up to 30 cm (12 in).

DISTRIBUTION/HABITAT: Found in the Western Pacific among seaward reefs, 5–35 m (15-100 ft). Usually solitary.

DIET IN THE WILD: Tuskfish have protruding canines used for moving rubble to expose invertebrate prey and prying mollusks from the substrate. Hardshelled prey is crushed by pharyngeal teeth. They feed on mollusks, echinoderms, crustaceans, worms.

REPRODUCTION: Pelagic spawners, initial males spawn in large groups; terminal males are usually territorial and pair spawn with females of their choice. Females change sex into males for their terminal phase.

CONSERVATION: IUCN Least Concern

REMARKS: Wrasses are most easily identified by their pointed snouts and prominent canine teeth that protrude in front of the jaw. Other common characteristics include their form of propulsion, which depends mostly on the winglike motion of the pectoral fins with only an occasional burst of speed provided by the caudal fin. Color, markings and body shapes change during maturation.
