This is another view of the huge tree I posted last week from the gardens of the Cummer Museum! Some of the limbs are so old, so heavy, that supports were built for them!

When I was a child we had a Monkey Puzzle Tree in a garden near where we lived. I was always fascinated by it. Either because of its name or the size of it.
Can't remember now, but they've always had a special place for me.

This Little Owl has been visiting me for a couple of years & normally sits on a post outside our living room window to watch T.V. By this time it is too dark to get a decent picture so I found him a little earlier in the evening in this oak tree in our garden.

After I'd been down to the beach the week before last I walked back up the hill and made the use of a huge flower tub to sit down for awhile.
Noticed the tree, but also that they've removed the bench that was there to sit on.

This magnificent moss and lichen-covered branch is on the first tree at the beginning of the path I typically take when I take my morning walk. It never fails to set the mood for an enjoyable walk!

A beautiful Corkscrew tree, which sadly had to come down, when the house owners had a problem with their drains. The tree was growing right above the waste pipe going out into the mains and had started to break up the pipe.
