The tree may have had to come down, but it gave me a great view of the trees behind it.

Trees can look as good with no foliage as they do with loads of leaves.
So here's one that's still all Wintry.
Thank you for your favourites. :O)

The trees in Summer, taken back in 2018, when it wasn't raining, or blowing a howler non stop.
I might one day, get out for some new photos. It's stopped raining, but the wind is unforgiving.

I just love this tree. It's outside the Creche near our apartment. I really must try and get it in better light at some point.
Try large and thank you for your favourites. :)

The beautiful tree, that had already suffered from either a storm, or possibly a lightening strike, was damaged yet again in the storm.
To the left (at the base of the trunk), you can see another branch has fallen.

While I was out over the weekend I took an up-to-date photo of the trees I'd taken some time last year.
[https://www.flickr.com/photos/65039623@N05/] had asked for an update - if I could get one.
Sadly the light was far better the first time, but you can't win them all.

The hotel in San Pedro, before embarking on a cruise, had an amazing marina view. On a walk I found this fabulous tree view lined with palm trees.
Another one of the gorgeous trees found on the grounds of the Cummer Museum and Gardens in Jacksonville, Fl

Trees Need Not Walk the Earth
David Rosenthal
"Trees need not walk the earth
For beauty or for bread;
Beauty will come to them
Where they stand.
Here among the children of the sap
Is no pride of ancestry:
A birch may wear no less the morning
Than an oak.
Here are no heirlooms
Save those of loveliness,
In which each tree
Is kingly in its heritage of grace.
Here is but beauty’s wisdom
In which all trees are wise.
Trees need not walk the earth
For beauty or for bread;
Beauty will come to them
In the rainbow—
The sunlight—
And the lilac-haunted rain;
And bread will come to them
As beauty came:
In the rainbow—
In the sunlight—
In the rain."

Two beautiful trees in one of the parks in Étampes. Sadly, they both had to be taken down, but I never found out why.

HAPPY TREE-mendous TUESDAY!
Wondering around the other day, I found this little green. Plenty of trees and a very small football pitch!
No doubt, in the not too distant future it will disappear for more housing. :0(

It's a False Acacia tree also known as Robinia ~ Robinia pseudoacacia. It will look like this when it's in full flower -

Seen on my first walk around the grounds. Loads of lovely nature to see along with plenty of flora. I think I've found my new Nature reserve, right on the doorstep.
Maybe view large, and thank you for your favourites. :)
