When will this madness ever end! As pretty as it is to look at, I'm more than tired of it by now! Waiting on spring with open arms =)
The Treetops Adventure experience, in the Capilano Suspenson Bridge Park, takes you on a walking tour up to towering canopy platforms interconnected by seven suspension bridges for a squirrel's eye view of the forest canopy.

A quick break from Lake District landscapes. There are lots of tremendous trees on Croham Hurst, especially along the top.
Happy Tree-mendous Tuesday!
When I look at the thumbnail I see either a bird or possible a duck, but sadly not when viewed at the usual size.

As a contrast with the previous upload, here is the view from the other side of the valley, on a beautiful day and including some of the waterfalls. Taken from the train on the way down from Wengen. I was pleased with how it came out. Happy Tree-mendous Tuesday!
I managed to get a better photo of this than I took earlier this year.
Or I think it is.

Another tree which is tremendous by virtue of its location and tenacity more than its size or appearance.

These two trees were framing the view of Grasmoor's north-west face nicely, as well as a small island in Crummock Water.

A wonderful tree I saw when I went up into the countryside the other week.

It's Tree-mendous Tuesday. And these fine trees were in Shropshire where the local serfs are highly practised at planting trees in very straight lines. They look happy trees too. I have a theory that happy trees grow tall and straight, so these are veeerrry happy ones. I always thought that if I had been a tree I would have been a leaning, stunted, twisted, dried out gnarled old hawthorn, only just managing to stand up in the gale. But I would have had bright baubles on my branches, twittering and singing happy birds cuddled up against my wood, and a few low hanging fruit laden branches as bait. I would have been a happy tree but not like all the others in the forest. Anyhow, I digress somewhat. Happy tree-mendous Tuesday.
Who can see the sheep grazing amongst the trunks?
Happy Tree mendous Tuesday
The title is a quote from Kahlil Gibran that came to mind as she walked under the trees:
"Trees are poems the earth writes upon the sky. We fell them down and turn them into paper, that we may record our emptiness."

Sadly this tree : flic.kr/p/2msVS3C has had to be cropped down. I had hoped it was OK, but obviously not.

A most unusual tree, species unknown. I was fascinated by its twisted branches and the sprinkling of fall color beginning to appear.
Situated on the Music Concourse of Golden Gate Park between the California Academy of Sciences and the de Young Museum.
Thank you very much for your views, faves and comments.
Royal Poinciana trees have such pretty fern-like leaves. And when their abloom with their striking red flowers they are gorgeous and leave no question as to why they are also known as Flamboyant.
I shot this photo while at a stop light on the way to church (husband driving).
