Rain outside so I made a simple spirograph from some pc fan's, mirror's and a red laser pointer. Great fun playing with it, but now I want to build something better, cant get enough of the laserrr light...
Handheld with the 100-400mm lens. Yeah...my arms hurt by the end of the shooting...and yeah...I loose a lot to camera shake, but I just can't get myself to use a tripod.
I really loved this one. Wonder what you think.
I can't tell you how tired I'm right now ...to do anything in fact! oh well, at least i manage a post here but if i'm departing for a holiday destination at this very moment, no matter how crap i feel, i'll make sure i crawl to the airport by hook or by crook :P A good nite from here as i volunteer to drag myself to bed soon! Standard 3 exposure shot (+2..0..-2 EV) taken handheld using Sigma DC HSM 10-20mm lens

- Tonemapped generated HDR using detail enhancer option
Photoshop
- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'curves' to increase the contrast
- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'levels' to increase the surrounding tone
- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'saturation' (yellows) to tone down the lightings
- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'saturation' (cyans) to tone up the glass
- Blended in a 0 EV tonemapped shot to remove movement of ppl in the foreground
- Applied noise reduction at certain area
- Applied a slight amount of 'unsharp mask' (as always) on the background layer

This is a multi exposure blended image taken in Grand Teton National Park last September. Three handheld shots were taken in quick succession using auto bracketing....one overexposed, one underexposed and one correctly exposed.
The high dynamic range approach allows the nuances of light and color to be captured more thoroughly and the final image more closely resembles the beauty of that magical morning in the Tetons....
(This was taken approximately 15 miles north of Jackson, Wyoming on Hwy 191. The creek you see in the foreground is a finger off of the Snake River)

Here is another handheld slow shutter attempt of the same waterfalls but this time at an even slower shutter speed of 0.3 sec. I was pretty much relying on the Sony Steadyshot IBIS and the silent electronic shutter. During post processing, I applied Topaz AI Sharpen as well. So my conclusion is that you could probably get away without the need of a tripod for silky waterfalls shots.
The Yorkshire coastline encompasses some of the UK’s most rugged and charming countryside, from tiny fishing villages clinging to rocky cliffs to glorious stretches of white sand and family-friendly seaside resorts, with everything from windswept abbeys to the county’s best fish and chips. Nothing if not diverse, expect awesome beaches, chilly feet if you brave the sea and a chance to lose yourself in this naturally beautiful destination.
