Built on the French Gothic style the green turreted Dunfermline City Chambers in Bridge Street was opened in1897 replacing the Old Town House which was completed in 1771. This photo was taken from Dunfermline Abbey churchyard.

A really lovely sunset tonight, first in ages. I popped to a very local beach and took a series of bracketed handheld shots not wishing to loiter with a tripod. I havn't got my editing glasses on so no idea if this is sharp, it was just nice to get out.
So the highlight of this week has been watching The Serpent. I wont give away any spoilers but it is SO good! Colourful and chilling at the same time with a lot of chain smoking and brilliant outfits!.
Thinking back to my "backpacking" trip in 1990. I wouldn't have been much good on the 70s hippie trail. I kept checking into nice hotels and my Dad picked up my credit card bill!! I can assure everyone he made up a spreadsheet and I paid him back every last penny.
