I figured that, since fireworks is moving anyways, it should be possible to take long exposures of it without using a tripod. Camera set to ISO 100, f/11, bulb exposure.

This shot is playing merry hell with my eyes.

Hand held picture with the Sigma 175-500mm lens fully extended. I would guess the distance from camera to subject was about 25 yards.

The middle one is a Radio Shack HTX-202, a venerable relic of the 1980s, owned by my co-worker. I took some time after work one night and programmed a bunch of repeaters and some popular simplex channels into it for him.

Wanted to test out CS5's new HDR features, as well as the ability of the 1D mark III to take handheld HDR shots. I'm fairly pleased.
