Here's a closer view of the quote by Henry Van Dyke. Also the moon and North Star, along with the handle of the Big Dipper.
This ATC is made with felt, ribbon, cotton embroidery floss, and handmade fabric-covered buttons. It is hand embroidered using the blanket- and straight-stitch.
I've been making fabric-covered buttons recently and thought they'd make a fun addition to this ATC. (I have some buttons available through my shop as well. Please see my Flickr profile for the link to my shop.)
This artist trading card (ATC) was made for the "Non-Paper Challenge" ATC Swap on ATC Beginners. It was sent to Hattie Heart.

Infant Onesie – SIZE 9 months ONLY!
Hand embroidered and appliquéd onesie. This onesie has amazing detail on each piece. I hand cut pieces from high end fabric and then “made” my own flower, I think it turned out rather well. I hope you do too! This onesie is truly one of a kind… be proud to sport this onesie on your earth baby. I know I would!
There are three butterflies on the Memorial Flag I made for Bridget, and the little bow on the baby's head with the two strands of hair is also meant to resemble a butterfly. I liked the purple and yellow in contrast to the pink. Butterflies seemed to be a dominant theme with the things I'd bought for Bridget during my pregnancy and after her birth. It wasn't really intended that way, but just seemed to be common. Considering the butterflies are symbolic of metamorphosis, you wonder if there was greater purpose to the coincidence. The butterflies are satin stitched.

These napkins are finally done. Too bad I missed the 2008 holiday season. I just pressed all 24 of these napkins. 16 are done in red and 8 in green. They are 20 x 20 cotton napkins and werereally easy to stitch on they just took a long time. It was quite windy today so the pictures are the best I could get, the light was great just was hard to take them.

This customer bought a very similar pillow cover from me 2 years ago, custom made for a baby boy. Now this little boy has a baby brother, who will also get his own pillow cover. Thanks Jill! :)

Thank you note for a sweet couple of ladies who invited me to their post-Thanksgiving Friday bash. Lovely ukelele music and singing around the fire, and by the piano.
I needed a little pouch and couldn't find one that I liked so I made one, well, with help of my mom, I just can't sew a straight line in the sewing machine...
