Hand made by my mom as a Christmas gift
This series started as I was putting away my Christmas decorations and thought "oh, some of these would make good photos to post next year". That turned into a shoot lasting three evenings and creating around 10 gigs of images.
This was an educational (if slightly grueling) process that helped me learn a bit more about still life, lighting and macro shooting.

I wanted to try a high contrast development on that one!
It's also a different composition than the one taught by the textbooks. The light seems poor, too.
However, I like the atmosphere here. And it's quite lucky that the two were going this way (past the sign on the pavement).
The white lines also create an interesting frame here. So I decided to upload something different tonight.
The day after tomorrow I will upload a guy with a wooden phallus :-)

Hipsterism is not a lifestyle one chooses. It creeps up on a person like a virus when they least expect it. Before you know it, you're waking up with stick-on mustaches in your hair and a fixed-gear bike in your bed. No one wants to be a hipster. This embroidery is dedicated to the sinking feeling that you just might be one anyway.

Anton's hand (that famous hand that's already been photographed by me in black and white, or against the vampire ad on that wall), is today trying to play magic inside the circle.
