For this photo, I took it inside under two lamps so all the shadows were cancelled out. I used my dads hands because they were older and more interesting than my brothers or anyone I could use in the studio. From there, I had him kneel down and I stood above him on a chair. I covered the table in a black sheet and took the picture.
To make this fit the theme, I really tried to emphasize the creases and callouses of his hands. This is really a universal thing everybody has felt at one point or another, and my goal was to make them think of that moment when they saw this photo. The only challenging part of this photo was choosing the positioning of his hands. I tried a bunch of different ways, but this way captured the most texture.

Handsworth Helping Hands (HHH) is a voluntary group committed to improving the quality of life in Handsworth, Birmingham.
This may be by carrying out environmental work such as street clean-ups and clearing and planting public spaces, or by helping residents with jobs they can't or don't have the means to do for themselves.
HHH relies mainly on grants and donations to cover the cost of insurance, purchase of tools and running the group's van.

When I go on errands with the Helping Hands transit van I cycle to collect the van, store the bicycle in the van and help with whatever work needs doing. Oscar dog sometimes comes along with me in the cabin of the van. He has been travelling in the front pannier of my folding bicycle since he was a puppy, ten years ago.

I’ve been meaning to replace the wrist joints on my Super Action Jenny body since I really dislike the hinge joints’ aesthetic since theyre clunky as heck but I’ve never been able to find replacement hands for all the years I’ve owned this body since the skin tone was super peachy and such.
I was gonna redonate the 2013 Bratz doll I had but I noticed the skin tone was really peachy as well and the hand was sculpted really similar to the SAJ body as well having the wrist joint being a similar length lol.
So yeah, I cut off the hinged wrists and shoved the Bratz heads into them so now I’m happy with the body…
There's something about those long summer days that gives us that sweet lazyness and makes us sleep in the sun like lizards.
Pure Neemo have wonderful hands, lovely shaped with very tiny nails.
The toothpick can help to understand how small they are :)

Charming 19th century hand-cranked green wooden tricycle with yellow trim and wooden-spoked metal-rimmed wheels. Horse head in front. Front wheel pivots with foot pegs for steering. Vertical hand levers crank the rear wheels. Cloth seat.

when I think of the pain that I have to endure...I think of this POW. Although in a slightly different circumstance this man would have no quams about killing me.....and I would not hesitate in killing him.... for that is the nature of war.....we were not the cold hearted crazed killers that the media made us out to be....we were just young men, many still teenagers, asked to do a dangerous and demanding job....only to be shit upon by those who sent us to fight in a questionable war.
I uploaded a version of this to my stream a couple of weeks ago, but it was so perfect for this theme I had to use it. I have edited it a bit and gone with a black and white version this time. It is a sculptured chair from our Botanical gardens that has arms, legs and even a head.The previous image and an outtake are in comments.
