February 23: Working on a church project that involved taking a lot of pictures. As I was finishing up, the hands on the wall caught my attention. The only light source is from a room behind the camera (that hit the wall in the middle).
HDR from 6 raw exposures (from 4" to 1/16").
My wife holds a tiny leopard frog, gently, by the legs. No leopards or frogs were harmed in the making of this image!
Bill Withers's song comes to mind with this image of her hands and little Jackson's left hand resting on her's.

The original plan for today was shooting a civil war reenactment at Upper Canada Village but it was raining most of the day so I bailed on that plan.
Instead, here's another shot from the Barstool Prophets/Glass Tiger show.

I never liked my hands. They're very wrinkly and always dry. Plus, I am always under a lot of stress and I am very nervous, so I always end up bitting the skin. It's an annoying habit I am trying to quit.
Hand-kissing is a gesture indicating courtesy, politeness, respect, admiration or even devotion by one "nutria" toward a person :-) This moment is full of softness and trust between the gentle nutria and my wife. I love this photograph / moment.
