My sister Merry (Meredith) is a potter. She made this coffee cup some years ago when she was living in Silverthorne, CO.
We're gone to the high Sierra, to breathe mountain air and, hopefully, summit Mount Whitney. See you all in a week.
today i was in a child mood which explains the picture's title. these are my sister's fingers. she stopped nail biting (instead of me too.:)). i'm so proud. she is my hero today who had defeated this enormous ten legged monster.

today made me happy, and it was so nice.
i learned spanish with felipe and taylor since were going to colombia and all .
then we went and "borrowed" garretts climbing stuff and went climbing. it was a real riot i tell you.
those two boys lifted my spirits and made me laugh. i am overly blessed to have them along with many other great people in my life.
Cornwall 365 - Day 26
Not a very good night but was up early and started to put my clocks back an hour, which takes a while as I have several and with some I can never remember how to do it at first - that is the digital ones of course. Today we had a mini flickr meet at the Eden Project and when I started to get ready to go down there I had a bit of a panic as I couldn’t find my lens cleaning cloth which is essential in the Rainforest Biome - it wasn’t in my camera bag or anywhere else I thought it could be, and then as I got in the cat I see my sweater laying on the back seat and remembered I had used the large pouch-like pocket on the front of it to keep the cloth in last time - panic over. I was at Eden around 11.50 and had to park in the first car park which is about a mile from the Biomes, so got on the bendy bus to the visitor centre. On the way down we passed the other car parks which all looked full up so it was clear the place would be crowded, and the queues at the ticket booths backed that up. Since I’m a Friend I didn’t have to queue for tickets J We hadn’t made any plans to meet apart from at 3pm in the Core building so I wandered down towards the Biomes and had a look at the skating rink on the way there, plenty of people skating. I thought I’d do the usual and go round the Rainforest Biome and then the Mediterranean Biome, but first I was feeling hungry so had my Sunday roast, which was pork and very nice it was too! After a wander around the biomes I had another wander around outside before going to the Core just before 3 where I found Nick and later we were joined by Justin and Sus, then later for a short while by Darren and his kids.

Sara has owed me a gift package for a long time; I ordered some stuff from her website last year (charms, bookmarks of her photography), but we both kept putting off her sending it. I finally got a parcel from her, packed with goodies to make up for it being late. :)
Sara handmade this peach charm and painted it. It currently resides on my camera!
365 Project - Day 242
Rock climbing is rough on the hands and while my scruffed and shredded hands would be perfect to illustrate this, shooting your own paws is really, really tricky. So I took this snapshot of my climbing buddy’s hands after a long evening in the gym. Chalk fills out every little wrinkle, and the skin is shredded. All I had this evening was my iPhone but (with a little post processing) it is all you need.
