In an effort to finally put the whole "sewer pipe disaster" behind me I am trying to get a little work done in my closet. I have a small 250/500 watt halogen work light I'm using to light up that dark corner of my room so I decided to have a little fun with it.

The answer: Halogen bulb

The original halogen MR16s were 50 Watt, 36 degree beam angle. We replaced them with Philips 10W LEDs that had a tighter, 15 degree beam angle. We used the lamps to only light what was important, which was the table tops, the art work and the flower arrangements. We used a special technique to get a warmer glow than even 2700K, to great effect.

It was a nice night.

Red colour caused by halogen lamps.

Lot brighter, tho warmer temperaturewise because its halogen instead of cfl. Safer too, since the old wires look like they originally went around screws, so they had stripped out patches just taped up with electrical tape.

Now it has a proper ground, with proper wire nuts.

Continuing with my 'light sources'. This is the halogen light in my bedroom.

I'm really enjoying this series. I find the concept of removing light to be able to see the light source interesting, as well as the darkness of the imges considering their subject.
