Al Madinah Al Munawwarah Research and Studies Center (www.madina2013.com) organised an exhibition on the life of the Prophet [pbuh] in Ramadaan 2016 outside Al Masjid An Nawawi. The purpose was to highlight the Prophet’s [pbuh] life, wisdom, characteristics, relationships, mission for Islam and an outline of the series of events during his birth and death. The exhibition comprised banners displaying authentic hadith, calligraphy and made use of installation arts using architectural material to take the audience through a virtual tour in the Prophet’s [pbuh] lifetime.
Thauban (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Whenever the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) finished his Salat (prayer), he would beg forgiveness three times [by saying, 'Astaghfirullah' (3 times)] and then he would say: "Allahumma Antas-Salamu, wa minkas-Salamu, tabarakta ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram. (O Allah! You are the Bestower of security and security comes from You; Blessed are You. O Possessor of glory and honour)." Imam Al-Auza'i (one of the subnarrators) of this Hadith was asked: "How forgiveness should be sought?" He replied: "I say: Astaghfirullah, Astaghfirullah (I seek forgiveness from Allah. I seek forgiveness from Allah)." [Muslim]. - وعن ثوبان رضي الله عنه قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا انصرف من صلاته ، استغفر الله ثلاثاً وقال: "اللهم أنت السلام، ومنك السلام، تباركت يا ياذا الجلال والإكرام" قيل للأوزاعي- وهو أحد رواته: كيف الإستغفار؟ قال: يقول: "أستغفر الله ، أستغفر الله" ((رواه مسلم)). Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said, "Three are the signs of a hypocrite: When he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he is trusted, he betrays his trust." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. A hadith from Sahih al-Bukhari, chapter: Prayers (Salat): Sahih al-Bukhari, Prayers (Salat) Book 8, Hadith 110 Narrated 'Abu Huraira: The Prophet (pbuh) sent some horsemen to Najd and they brought a man called Thumama bin Uthal from Bani Hanifa. They fastened him to one of the pillars of the mosque. The Prophet (pbuh) came and ordered them to release him. A hadith from Sahih al-Bukhari, chapter: Prayers (Salat): Sahih al-Bukhari, Prayers (Salat) Book 8, Hadith 28 Narrated 'Abu Juhaifa: I saw Allah's Messenger (pbuh) in a red leather tent and I saw Bilal taking the remaining water with which the Prophet had performed ablution. I saw the people taking the utilized water impatiently and whoever got some of it rubbed it on his body and those who could not get any took the moisture from the others' hands. Then I saw Bilal carrying a short spear (or stick) which he planted in the ground. The Prophet came out tucking up his red cloak, and led the people in prayer and offered two rak`at (facing the Ka`ba) taking a short spear (or stick) as a Sutra for his prayer.
