کُنْ کَأَنَّکَ تَرَی اﷲَ
عَنْ زَیْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اﷲِ ﷺ : کُنْ کَأَنَّکَ تَرَی اﷲَ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَکُنْ تَرَاہُ فَإِنَّہُ یَرَاکَ-
’’حضرت زید بن ارقم رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ روایت کرتے ہیں کہ حضور نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا: (اے بندۃ خدا!) اس طرح ہو جا گویا اللہ تعالیٰ کو دیکھ رہا ہے، اگر تم اُسے نہیں دیکھ رہے تو وہ تو یقینا تمہیں دیکھ رہا ہے۔‘‘

Abu Shuraih Khuwailid bin 'Amr Al-Khuza'i (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard Messenger of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) saying, "He who believes in Allah and the Last Day, should accommodate his guest according to his right." He was asked: "What is his right, O Messenger of Allah?" He (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) replied: "It is (to accommodate him) for a day and a night, and hospitality extends for three days, and what is beyond that is charity." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. In Muslim it is added: Messenger of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said, "It is not permissible for a Muslim to stay so long with his brother till he makes him sinful." He was asked: "O Messenger of Allah, how can he make him sinful?" He replied, "He prolongs his stay with him till nothing is left with the host to entertain him (guest)." وعن أبي شريح خويلد بن عمرو الخزاعي رضي الله عنه قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: "من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فليكرم ضيفه جائزته" قالوا: وما جائزته يا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "يومه وليلته. والضيافة ثلاثة أيام، فما كان وراء ذلك فهو صدقة عليه” ((متفق عليه)) . وفي ((رواية لمسلم)): "لا يحل لمسلم أن يقيم عند أخيه حتى يؤثمة" قالوا: يا رسول الله ، وكيف يؤثمه؟ قال: "يقيم عنده ولا شيء له يقريه به". The purpose was to highlight the Prophet’s [pbuh] life, wisdom, characteristics, relationships, mission for Islam and an outline of the series of events during his birth and death. The exhibition comprised banners displaying authentic hadith, calligraphy and made use of installation arts using architectural material to take the audience through a virtual tour in the Prophet’s [pbuh] lifetime.

May 22, 2013 at 07:12PM ANAS SAID: THE APOSTLE OF ALLAH (MAY PEACE BE UPON HIM) WAS ONE OF THE BEST OF MEN IN CHARACTER. ONE DAY HE SENT ME TO DO SOMETHING, AND I SAID: I SWEAR BY ALLAH THAT I WILL NOT GO. BUT IN MY HEART I FELT THAT I SHOULD GO TO DO WHAT THE PROPHET OF ALLAH (MAY PEACE BE UPON HIM) HAD COMMANDED ME; SO I WENT OUT AND CAME UPON SOME BOYS WHO WERE PLAYING IN THE STREET. ALL OF A SUDDEN THE APOSTLE OF ALLAH (MAY PEACE BE UPON HIM) WHO HAD COME UP BEHIND CAUGHT ME BY THE BACK OF THE NECK, AND WHEN I LOOKED AT HIM HE WAS LAUGHING. HE SAID: GO WHERE I ORDERED YOU, LITTLE ANAS. I REPLIED : YES, I AM GOING, APOSTLE OF ALLAH! ANAS SAID: I SWEAR BY ALLAH, I SERVED HIM FOR SEVEN OR NINE YEARS, AND HE NEVER SAID TO ME ABOUT A THING WHICH I HAD DONE: WHY DID YOU DO SUCH AND SUCH? NOR ABOUT A THING WHICH I LEFT: WHY DID NOT DO SUCH AND SUCH? حَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الشَّعِيرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمَّارٍ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ - قَالَ قَالَ أَنَسٌ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ أَحْسَنِ النَّاسِ خُلُقًا فَأَرْسَلَنِي يَوْمًا لِحَاجَةٍ فَقُلْتُ وَاللَّهِ لاَ أَذْهَبُ . وَفِي نَفْسِي أَنْ أَذْهَبَ لِمَا أَمَرَنِي بِهِ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . قَالَ فَخَرَجْتُ حَتَّى أَمُرَّ عَلَى صِبْيَانٍ وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ فِي السُّوقِ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَابِضٌ بِقَفَاىَ مِنْ وَرَائِي فَنَظَرْتُ إِلَيْهِ وَهُوَ يَضْحَكُ فَقَالَ " يَا أُنَيْسُ اذْهَبْ حَيْثُ أَمَرْتُكَ " . قُلْتُ نَعَمْ أَنَا أَذْهَبُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ أَنَسٌ وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ خَدَمْتُهُ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ أَوْ تِسْعَ سِنِينَ مَا عَلِمْتُ قَالَ لِشَىْءٍ صَنَعْتُ لِمَ فَعَلْتَ كَذَا وَكَذَا . وَلاَ لِشَىْءٍ تَرَكْتُ هَلاَّ فَعَلْتَ كَذَا وَكَذَا . August 10, 2013 at 05:02AM Hudhaifah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Whenever the Messenger of Allah () intended to go to sleep, he would place his right hand under his (right) cheek and supplicate: "Allahumma qini 'adhabaka yauma tab'athu 'ibadaka (O Allah! Guard me against Your punishment on the Day when You will resurrect Your slaves)." [At-Tirmidhi]. In a narration in Abu Dawud, Hafsah (May Allah be pleased with her) said: Before going to sleep the Messenger of Allah () would recite this Du'a three times. وعن حذيفة رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، كان إذا أراد أن يرقد وضع يده اليمنى تحت خده، ثم يقول: "اللهم قني عذابك يوم تبعث عبادك". ((رواه الترمذي وقال حديث حسن ورواه أبو داود من رواية حفصة رضي الله عنه وفيه أنه كان يقوله ثلاث مرات)). Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) saying, "Allah, the Exalted, has said: 'O son of Adam! I shall go on forgiving you so long as you pray to Me and aspire for My forgiveness whatever may be your sins. O son of Adam! I do not care even if your sins should pile up to the sky and should you beg pardon of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam! If you come to Me with an earthful of sins and meet Me, not associating anything with Me in worship, I will certainly grant you as much pardon as will fill the earth."' [At-Tirmidhi]. وعن أنس رضي الله عنه قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: “قال الله تعالى: يا ابن آدم إنك ما دعوتني ورجوتني غفرت لك ما كان منك ولا أبالي، يا ابن آدم لو بلغت ذنوبك عنان السماء، ثم استغفرتني ، غفرت لك ولا أبالي، يا ابن آدم إنك لو أتيتني بقراب الأرض خطايا، ثم لقيتني لا تشرك بي شيئاً، لأتيتك بقرابها مغفرة" .
