Had been really busy and tired for Christmas yesterday~ but it is now all over...
Enjoy your holiday my dear friends~ for the journey in 2008.
Had another raw shot left to play with and thought to use it , play with it and eventually ended up with this picture :)
It 'is' a look from my roleplay character but there's no real tale in the picture this time..a simple play on the image.
Hope you like!!
Had zeker al 2 weken niet meer gefotografeerd, gisteren eindelijk weer even lekker op pad richting Vlissingen met het stormachtige weer bij de Oranjemolen.
Had to do some work with the light to save this shot!! Last one from that fun night. A previous night I had adjusted the ISO, and forgot@##$@ God's fireworks are amazing!!
Had a wonderful morning on the basin. Here Meteor (horse on right) is fighting a horse whom I am not sure of his name. The horse on left kept picking on Meteor guess he had enough.
Will be taking a Flickr break. I am having several problems with my account. May have said they can't see my pictures in their contact feed. I have trouble commenting. I contacted Flickr and they just gave me the standard "we are moving to another server..." So I am going to give them time. I know they are planning on the downtime on May 22. I will be back toward the end of June beginning of July. Hopefully all will be fixed by then. Will check in from time to time to see what you are all doing!
Happy Summer!
We've had some great sunsets this week, this was yesterday just down the lane from me.
In case you ask, I'm sorry but I do not participate in commenting groups, but I'm always grateful for your visits and would like to thank you now for stopping by, and any comments you may leave. Much appreciated, John...

Had the opportunity to eyewhitness this opportunity...good luck you guys and all the best from Germany!
Had there been no Covid-19 virus and had I not ruptured my left Achilles (now on the mend) I would be flying to Vienna today to start a 19 days trip around this lovely country. I plan to do the same in 2021. This was taken on a day out from Salzburg.
Had to move out of the way quickly, but still got wet. Love how this explosion of white water framed the sea stack being hit by first light…. Combined with one of the winters best cloud decks, it made for a great session.
#MacroMonday
#Nuts
Pareidolia gone nuts? I was lucky that I still had the package of walnut halves that I'd bought for the "In Ice" theme (please see the first comment). So I thought I'd continue that story: a "brain", finally freed from the restrictions of its former ice skull housing – what would it do? I think it would begin to curiously discover its new world, discover its own intellect (without the interfering thoughts of its previous owner) – much like a child that grows up and gets more and more independent, and has an enormous hunger for knowledge, but also for mischief and fun :) My first idea was to make a pair of glasses for the brain / walnut; I thought I'd use jewellery wire for it, but then I looked at the small walnut halves and the thin wire, and thought: impossible! Unachievable! Too difficult for my clumsy hands! Well, I might have given it a (most likely unsuccessful) try, but went looking for nuts in the toolbox instead, nuts small enough to serve as eyes. So may I introduce you to Frankie, the brain that set out to conquer the macro world – but should adjust its eyes first :)
Happy Macro Monday, Everyone, stay safe and healthy!
Had one of the best days photography I've ever had yesterday and this was my favourite image and also one of my favourite that I've ever taken.
Had the best gig last night watching Toots and the Maytals, superb. For no other reason than it's a favourite track from my youth, it has to be Monkey Man, no relevance at all to Nash Point but never mind.
Had an incident this morning my friends and wound up in the E.R., all's good and all's well and am home napping on and off and just resting.
This guy was quite a surprise and I did not see him, but still managed something I am proud of and am able to post.
Thank for everything.
Just had time to catch a quick shot of this tiny Hummingbird up on the Hydro Wires before he/she flew off again. At the moment I do not have a telephoto lens, so had to do a bit more cropping.
had to crop almost a third off....wish I had a longer zoom but I love the 100-400GM lens...Has anyone used it with a TC?
Had a brief fishing trip up north this past weekend so was in their breeding territory - was hoping for something very unique, but sometimes, you need to photograph what is there and available!
It had been a grey day with a darkening sky as daylight was coming to an end. Having spotted this solitary Roe Deer in the grasses at Burnt Common I decided to creep round a circle of shrubs to have a better view of her. Remarkably she was still there and for a brief moment the winter sun gave a warm glow to this beautiful doe amidst the delicate grasses and slender Silver Birch.
Thank you all for your kind responses.

Had the most wonderful day yesterday at their new RHS Bridgewater Garden in Worsley UK. It was such a fantastic experience so thank you Lou and Ali for treating Dad to an annual subscription for Fathers Day which allows me to go as well 😊
Had a pretty good day yesterday photographing. My Red-Shouldered Hawks' eggs have hatched, and I got some photos of the chicks and the Mamma, with a story. Coming this week. This Yellow Warbler was a real treat. I'm glad it was a good day, as I don't know when the weather will be nice again, and of course I am still working from home--until June 4, I believe.
I hope the redundancy in photos isn't too boring or repetitive--the Cardinals have been cooperative, the RSHs have allowed me to get close (though yesterday the Mamma frightened me some), the Tree Swallows keep gladly posing for shots.
I may start posting some multiple uploads of the same subject to break up feared redundancy. Seems paradoxical, but it makes sense in my weird head.
I've had a helluva time trying to ID the bush he's in. Not a wild honeysuckle.
Thanks for Viewing.
Had a lovely walk round Fernilee Reservoir in the Goyt Valley yesterday. the light across the water from the causeway was just divine!
Had some nice hours spent at Bempton Cliffs, where the birds were busy nest building
Many thanks for taking time to view, comment and fave. Thats very much appreciated
"He had it comin'
He had it comin'
He only had himself to blame
If you'd have been there
If you'd have heard it
I betcha you would have done the same"
Had a couple of nice days weather-wise and the difference it has made to the early morning bird song is incredible - Chaffinches starting to sing now and the Dartford Warblers are more active as they start to establish breeding territories.
(explored)
Had a great day =*
Happy Birthday Ulla, I love you so much babe =*
I'm so lucky to know you, and to be your bestfriend :'''')

It's coming on Christmas
They're cutting down trees
They're putting up reindeer
And singing songs of joy and peace
Oh, I wish I had a river I could skate away on
But it don't snow here
It stays pretty green
I'm gonna make a lot of money
Then I'm gonna quit this crazy scene
I wish I had a river I could skate away on
I wish I had a river so long
I would teach my feet to fly
Oh, I wish I had a river I could skate away on
I made my baby cry
He tried hard to help me
You know, he put me at ease
And he loved me so naughty
Made me weak in the knees
Oh, I wish I had a river I could skate away on
I'm so hard to handle
I'm sеlfish and I'm sad
Now I've gone and lost the bеst baby
That I ever had
I wish I had a river I could skate away on
I wish I had a river so long
I would teach my feet to fly
Oh, I wish I had a river I could skate away on
I made my baby say goodbye
It's coming on Christmas
They're cutting down trees
They're putting up reindeer
And singing songs of joy and peace
I wish I had a river I could skate away on
Had a flock of them stopping in eating the remaining mountain ash berries. A grey rainy day at Isle Lake

Had an awesome day out last wednesday with my buddy Ryan Smith. He was in Vegas for a visit and asked me to join him. After several hours of Photoshop collaboration we decided to head out to a spot 40 minutes outside of Town. I take my gear down to the front of the hotel and wait for valet, a beautiful black challenger pulls up and it's Ryans, what a ride that was E-ticket all the way. Ryan had a couple of spots picked out and this was one of them. After several hours of shooting we decided to split up, i was heading over to shoot the plane crash site while he shot around town. In hindsight, I wish I had followed him around town as he came away with some very interesting perspectives.
I focused on the main subject the plane and let that fill the frame here. Taken with the Rokinon 24mm f1.4 and lit using the Low Level Lighting technique with one panel to the right set to 4k color temp and the one in the back using a standard warming filter.
Thanks for taking the time to take a look at my photos, I am always grateful for your views, comments, faves, and support, they are truly appreciated!! Have a great day my friends!! :)

Had this picture and since it's heart time, I've posted it!
The text and lyrics are known to Elvis, although he personally did not like it.
Had alot of these barnacle gooses flying around but I could not get a good shot. As we were walking back to the car a few came flying right over our heads and I nailed this!
Had a great morning the other day spending some time at the Rookery with these guys and more species than ever before. A lot going on and still mating, even with chicks in the nest, unbelievable for this time of year.
Have a great and safe day everyone, and a great and safe Memorial Day Weekend.
Had a very fun time creaitng a subframe for Flickr Friday using our tiger lilies that just bloomed today and the tiny, high in the sky, wild fire smoke inhibited sun.
Had fun playing with some new filters for this one. Has a very tropical feel so I had to put a jimmy Buffett Song to it, Always a Florida girl even if I'm stuck in the desert.

I used to rule my world from a pay phone
Ships out on the sea
But now times are rough
And I got too much stuff
Can't explain likes of me
But there's this one particular harbour
So far but yet so near
Where I see the days as they fade away
And finally disappear
But now I think about the good times
Down in the caribbean sunshine
In my younger days I was so bad
Laughin' about all the fun we had
I seen enough to feel the world spin
Mixin' different oceans meetin' cousins
Listen to the drummers and the night sounds
Listen to the singers make the world go 'round
I had not expected to see such a young one in the month of December

Had a lovely quiet walk along here for a few km until we met a flooded creek that was just a bit too deep for a couple of oldies to feel like wading through :)
Had so much fun doing a collab post with the lovely and talented Aria ❤️ She posed us, as well as setting up the backdrop.
We had a lovely walk up the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal yesterday (20-05-2018)....the main reason for our walk was for my son the try out his new camera ( a new convert to photography ). So i just put my "nifty fifty " on the D7100 to capture a few shots if i got the chance .On the way back i spotted this narrow boat coming out of the locks that are off to the right on the other side of the bridge .I got in position and hoped it came my way and fired off about 10 shots as it pasted through
Inspired by a photo taken by Kerri Lee Smith I went outdoors today between two heavy rain showers and tried to photograph droplets. This is a close-up of a flower of my Plumbago and I add a photo in the comments which shows the complete flower. It's one of many, the Plumbago is a kind of shrub and has about 40 of these flowers at the moment.
