One of the members of our Habitat for Humanity Global Village mission to Thailand in 2007 taking a break from painting the steel roof components with a layer of protective epoxy. See www.ColumbusGVTeam.com.

Dosti Dustov and his wife, Oisha Dustova, have ten children. They used to get all of their water from a muddy, polluted irrigation canal near their house until they obtained a bio-sand water filter from Habitat for Humanity Tajikistan.

The Habitat for Humanity team had their work cut out for them over the weekend. As you'll see from the other picture, they did a fabulous job!

Fund-raising car-wash for our Habitat for Humanity trip to South Africa

Our building site supervisors for Habitat for Humanity Ethiopia. One of the many things I love about Ethiopia is how freely affectionate the men (and most everyone) are with each other. These two are good friends are always hugging each other or have their arms around each other. It's not unusual for straight guys to walk down the street holding hands.

(Of course, there's the whole other issue of complete intolerance for homosexuality that I still can't quite wrap my head around since it's such an open and loving culture in almost all other ways. That's a discussion for another time.)
