A day at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

Council Rock North High School Student Executive Board representative. Recently, the students at Council Rock North High School sacrificed a night of sleep so they could raise money and awareness for Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County. The school’s Student Executive Board selected Habitat for the beneficiary of their 2nd Annual Rock-a-thon, during which students stayed up for 12 hours, dancing and playing volleyball. The event raised over $12,000 and garnered local media attention for Habitat for Humanity. Student board members Patra Konugres, Jameson Lee and Laura Oringer presented the Zander family with their house key during dedication.

Dedication of the new Rice County Habitat for Humanity home at 900 Second Street West in Northfield will be held this Saturday, September 15th at 4:00 pm. The public is invited to attend.

 

Finishing touches are being put on the home, which is being built in partnership with the Troy and Laura Simonson family.The Simonsons and their seven children will move into the home upon its completion.
