This old truck seems to be hiding out on this abandoned property in northern Illinois. Definitely one to check out when the leaves come down this fall. HTT Everyone!

Obviously shot before but a different day, a different look is my opinion.

This beautiful restore was found in central east side of Iowa!

Happy Truck Thursday!

Happy Truck Thursday - find this bandit near an old barn. Banged my knee bad trying to take it but well worth it.

Angus Heap was his name… farming was his game!

Happy Truck Thursday!

Taken last February with a touch of white snow on the ground. This poor bandit flanks and contrasts so nicely with the birch trees also in white.

Just resting .. HTT!

Across the road from that old rusted one.

They haven't quite hit their peak of vibrant colors yet, but getting quite close.

I think this is a nice easy colour on the eyes. A nice looking truck.

The field around a barn in the small town of Latah, Washington is frequently adorned with old trucks and cars. When we stopped to photograph the scene, a man came out of a nearby house, opened the gate and invited us in to continue shooting. He said he and another neighbor like to display their collection of old vehicles near this barn.

An old jalopy - so old and tired it is tireless!

Happy Truck Thursday!

I always like this truck but I preferred when it was in the field. It is now hard to get at. It is used mainly to advertise.

Not quite as photogenic here.

Taken during our trip to Alaska in 2013. These two eagles sat on on this pole near Bar Harbor Marina in Ketchikan every day we were moored there. The sky was monotone gray so I added a cloud overlay and sepia filter from the old pixlr express. Pixlr express is going away in December, being replaced by pixlr X - which, sadly for me, does not include either of the tools (smoke and too old) that I used here.

Just another rural pole in the middle of nowhere with too many lines. It really seems like overkill, but I am not knowledgeable in this field. I would like to know what the white rod attached to the guy wire is that is hanging down on the right side. Anyone? I felt I had to post something for HTT since I have a Group...LOL.

Once upon a time there was a whole slew of old trucks in this yard. One day some time ago I took some pictures in HDR and now they are all gone.

I thought it was interesting that there are more guy wires holding up this pole than there are power lines going to houses. I guess this must be a very windy corner and the Power Company is afraid they might lose their pole to high winds. I can’t think why else it would have to be so strongly secured. HTT

Found this old 65 Chevy van among the weeds of Wyoming - love the color combo!
