This old flatbed truck sitting peacefully in a South Dakota field is pretty much complete except for an important component, the engine!
A week or so back I went by this and said to myself "Oh yeah, I remember that" Note to self. Remember location.
So I went there the other day.

I am hearing that we might not have snow for Christmas. You would think that living in the great white north that there would be quite a bit. But no.

The International Harvester K and KB Series are trucks that were produced by International Harvester, the first being the K introduced in mid 1940. In total there were 42 models, 142 different wheelbase lengths and load ratings ranging from 1/2 ton to 90,000 lbs. They are best known for their durability, prewar design in a postwar era, and low price.
This is an older shot. I happened to drive past here today and saw that this truck was not there. Now I am a bit frightened that she has been taken away.

I guess this truck isn’t being driven because it doesn’t have a license plate on the front. It has some nice tires though ( well, two that I can see). Maybe the owner uses the school bus to get to the grocery store.

Hidden away in an old shed barn - not sure how it could ever be driven out of there.
Unfortunately both these places are not open at present. I feel so bad for the restaurants. I believe Legends did take out but that is still a loss.

I was getting a bit creative today using an A.I. generator. It is cheating but I thought I would see what sort of thing can be produced. I think it is sort of cool.

Found up in Minnesota - a great old Grandad of a truck. I used a canvas layer to give itt some even tones throughout the image.
