Just another rural pole in the middle of nowhere with too many lines. It really seems like overkill, but I am not knowledgeable in this field. I would like to know what the white rod attached to the guy wire is that is hanging down on the right side. Anyone? I felt I had to post something for HTT since I have a Group...LOL.
This truck must have a magnetic personality the way it is attracting all this metal junk!
Happy Truck Thursday!
We are finally starting to get some color now. It is supposed to rain tomorrow, so I traveled around today looking for colorful trees.
Isn’t it a coincidence that I just happened to find a power pole with a nice colorful background? I wasn’t looking for that ... yeah right.
Happy Telegraph Tuesday!
This power pole has an interesting array of wires. It looks more like a May pole with all of its spokes. It also reminds me of the rides at amusement parks that had swings attached to each line coming out from a central pole. Then, when it got up to speed, you were horizontal with the ground ... and dizzy as “@$&* (all get out).

A beautiful old firetruck with a just enough spark to keep us looking! With those headlights and all the parts like the ladder - it might be under reconstruction!
Happy Truck Thursday!
Stink bait is exactly what it sounds like: a stinky bait used to catch fish, especially catfish. You can purchase stink bait at bait shops.
This place was out of business and the truck looked abandoned - awful stinky to me!
Happy Truck Thursday!
One of the old power and telegraph poles left at Vulture City, AZ Today, all power at the site is by a modern generator due to the old towns isolation....
The owner said, starting on April 1st they will be having a scratch and dent sale on this truck!
Happy Truck Thursday!
I don’t know what the power company is doing here, but evidently they were stopping traffic. The work crew was gone when I went through. It seems like a lot of power poles for this short area of road. I hope they are temporary. HTT
Taken some years ago, I just recently reprocessed the shot. This person had quite a collection of vehicles in his yard and simply asked if I could take some shots. He said yes. They are no longer there. Glad that I asked.
