unfortunately the weather at germanys highest mountain called the zugspitze (2962m) was very very bad - snow, wind, mist. But I thought the church in a complete white picture looks nice.
A majestic view of the Scafell Range of peaks taken from the opposite side of the Esk Valley.
It was a quick dash after a round of golf at Lancaster. The conditions looked great, so I went for it after lunch. I was hoping for a bit more snow on the peaks, but that seemed to have disappeared from the weekend. I think this has to be one of the best views in England.
A wonderful evening to be out. I even caught an epic sunset with the Isle of Man clearly visible when I stood at the top of Hardknott Pass later! I may post that at some point.
i will be away for one week, fly to scotland in..hmmm..five hours :)
wish you all a wonderful weekend and a good new week
ups - forget this NEW: "i love your work 108"
sorry, bye bye :))

The Jungfraujoch
Switzerland
is a col or saddle between the Mönch and the Jungfrau in the Bernese Alps on the boundary between the cantons of Bern and Valais, inside the Jungfrau-Aletsch Protected Area.
Strictly, the Jungfraujoch is the lowest point on the mountain ridge between Mönch and Jungfrau, at 3,471 meters (11,388 ft).

The Jungfrau-Aletsch protected area is the first World Natural Heritage site in the Alps, it was inscribed in 2001.

Glenshee lies just off the A93 road some 20 miles north of Blairgowrie. The resort is titled the 3 valleys of Scotland and when all lifts are open, the ski area really is quite extensive by British standards. Served mainly by drag lifts due to persistently high winds you can ski in relatively remote locations on the slopes of Glas Moal, to the east. The steepest run at Glenshee is probably the west wall on the side of Glas Moal but it is the Tiger Bumps that people seem to remember. This run is served by a Poma Triple, installed in 2015; you have 250metres of vertical descent straight back down. The longest lift served vertical is on Glas Maol, which has 301m of vertical with the highest lift at 1029m. On its day, Glenshee can offer knee deep powder but it is often hard, icy and dogged by chilling winds. Accommodation can be found in Blairgowrie to the south or in Braemar to the North. One final comment; the A93 is known to block very easily and road conditions can be very hazardous so make sure you go prepared with a shovel and some grit!
View from the mountain Śnieżka on surroundings :)
Śnieżka is a mountain on the border between the Czech Republic and Poland, the most prominent point of the Silesian Ridge in the Karkonosze mountains. At 1,603 metres, its summit is the highest point in the Czech Republic, in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in the Krkonoše and in the entire Sudetes. On the top of Śnieżka on the Polish side is a disc-shaped observatory with a weather station and restaurant was built in 1974, and the St. Lawrence Chapel. On Czech side are a post office, and a chairlift station, connecting the peak with the town of Pec pod Sněžkou at the base of the mountain. There are many marked tourist routes from the Polish side to the summit, mainly from the city of Karpacz. It is possible to take a chairlift from Karpacz to Kopa (1377 m a.s.l.) which significantly shortens the way to the summit. Śnieżka belongs to the Crown of Europe, Crown of Polish Mountains and Crown of Sudetes. Śnieżka was one of the first European mountains visited by many tourists. This was mainly due to the relatively minor technical difficulties of the ascent and the fact that since the sixteenth century, many resort visitors flocked to the nearby Cieplice Śląskie-Zdrój and the highly visible Sněžka, visually dominant over all Krkonoše was for them an important attraction. One side of the mountain is in the Czech Republic; the other belongs to Poland. The area is very popular in summer with tourists from the Czech Republic, Poland, and Germany, who enjoy hiking in the alpine environment unique to this area.

Należy do Korony Europy, Korony Gór Polski, Korony Sudetów i Korony Sudetów Polskich.

I actually didn't know that this building exists in Adelaide.. just happened to drive past with my mate along the esplanade. Gosh! This just look so much like a gladiator colosseum in Rome!! i feel like in a holiday already LOL! that's cheap! Nice ambience tho.. with pub meals and heard celebrities and bands such as AC/DC came here to perform their concert. Btw TGIF too! Its the thought of weekend that makes me feel good again as i'm feeling weary. Nonetheless, enjoy a drink or 2 at your pubs tonight & catch you all soon! :)
Thank you so much for popping by with your views, comments or faves! Always appreciate them!
